Must Try: Crema Bombe(Small), Caffe Bombe(Small), Caramel Bombe(Small), but they’re all really amazing! Rating:(10⁄10) Food,(10⁄10) Service,(10⁄10) Value,(9⁄10) Ambience,(8⁄10) Presentation,(10⁄10) Cleanliness My Experience: Amazing place to get a delicious Italian bombe! Not too many places do it right, and this place specializes in them. It’s a bit of a journey out to Vaughan, but it’s worth the mission. I would always recommend getting the smaller sizes so you can more flavours rather than one big one. Crema(Original Cream) is my personal favourite, but I’ve heard rave reviews about the Chocolate Hazelnut and the Peanut Butter + Chocolate as well. The restaurant is a small café style, where you walk up and order. The service is amazing cause they’ll still bring you your orders to your table where you’re seated. The staff is always happy and super friendly! They offer take out options, which are great to bring some home to the family or if you are attending a party or gathering!

It’s been ages since I ventured to this part of town and this is my first stop! Never been disappointed. Love the custard and nutella.

Dropped by this place because of the Unilocal reviews. Pleasantly surprised. I got a dozen of the small bombe for 18 $ flat. I think the small bombe is the perfect size for a snack. Tried the Original flavour(custard) Bombe as well as the Nutella Bombe. The donut itself is amazing and made fresh to order which I really appreciated. The filling I am still on the fence about. I found the custard to have a lemony flavour, which surprised me and I didn’t like too much. The custard wasn’t very sweet, which is nice, but was hoping for it to be light and creamy, but wasn’t really. And I found the nutella filled bombe was too much overloaded sweetness. But it was tasty nonetheless, went well with a hot tea. I love the donut portion, it’s fluffy, crisp on the outside, and cooked perfectly. I will come back to try their fruit flavoured fillings. Service was fast and courteous. This place is cash only sadly.

It’s been ages since I haven’t had such a perfect bomba(aka krapfen, aka bombolone). I was lucky they were at the ICFF ceremony at the Roy Thompson Hall because unfortunately they are not very close to downtown. Tonight, at RTH, they had a kiosk were I had a taste of their bombe. Absolutely super!

I’ve been a bad, bad, boy. Having company in from out of town, we started talking about favorite desserts. They had never heard of either a zeppolli or bombe. At first I thought I needed more cultured friends, but then I decided to educate them on the joys of what will now be called heaven. While out picking up ingredients to make dinner, I popped in Dolce Bombe to pick up some mini bombes as an after dinner nosh. Picked up 6 Nutella and 6 peanut butter. The aroma in my car was intoxicating… a hint of icing sugar sweetness combined with the sweet mix of peanut butter and Nutella. Would these mini bombes survive the 10 minute drive home? Did I care? Just having them in the car driving back to my house got the stomach growling. I could eat just one, but that would leave 11… and no one buys 11 desserts… I’d have to eat 2, leaving 10. That seemed reasonable… I could tell everyone that I only bought 10 as there were 5 of us and that would give us 2 each. My mind was racing… could I pull off this scam? I agonized and agonized… and by the time I hit Langstaff, one had magically made its way to my mouth. It was delicious. Still warm, the filling oozed down my chin and icing sugar ringed my mouth. OMG… being bad never felt so good ! Once the first one was scarfed down, it was easy to commit to my plans to consume another. Arriving home, I wiped all tell tale signs from my face and walked in and casually placed the box on the kitchen counter. No one was the wiser. After dinner we retired to the living room to watch a movie. 15 minutes in, one of my friends mentioned that now would be good time to try one. I fetched the box and plates and they oohed and awed as the box was placed in front of them. It took about 5 seconds of polite staring(you know that look… should I be polite and let someone else take the first one, or just say f-it and grab one). I opted for the second approach. I’ve never seen such a feeding frenzy… icing sugar was everywhere… orgasmic moans filled the room, I’ve never seen such a contented group of people. My plan worked ! No one was the wiser I had already eaten two… I was a genius… I had committed the perfect crime ! After our good nights, I crawled into bed, only to be greeted by a wry smile from my partner and as they were reaching for the light said«no one buys just 10 bombes…»

Without a doubt, the best pillow injected donuts! You will be satisfied, you won’t be able to stop at just one, and you will definitely look for excuses to eat more! These are a delectable treat amongst all ages. The chewy and light dough makes for a filling treat, together stuffed with Nutella, it just hits the spot. Make sure if you go in store, you pair it with a cappuccino! If you’re placing an order via phone, pick them up as late as you can so they are fresh as possible. Do not refrigerate. Leave out in room temperature for maximum freshness and chewy texture.(Otherwise, the Nutella hardens) I ordered 24 small bombe’s with nutella and assorted flavors for a birthday. Nutella won first place amongst children and adults. Other flavors included were lemon, vanilla, strawberry. Friendly service. Costly, but worth it. Great substitution for birthday cakes. They make great hostess gifts and they end the meal off with satisfaction! The only change I’d like to see Dolce Bombe make is to have a debit form of payment. This place only takes cash, so come prepared. They also didn’t mention this over the phone which would have saved a lot of time. TD bank is in walking distance, but why go through the hassle? It’s 2015. Plastic payment should be available.

After being told about this place by Unilocaler friends I decided that on a recent lunch with Toronto’s Chris P, that we would have to venture it find it. Located just off of Pine Valley Drive(the north side) keep an eye out for the sign because we drove right past it. Pro tip: Best to enter the TD Canada Trust plaza off of Hwy 7 and drive through the parking lot as the turn in off of Pine Valley is a P.I.T.A! Walking in, it’s a small 4 – 5 table set up, and I was surpised to see that they had no ready made inventory on the shelves! Well I soon learned that was because every Bombe you order is made to order, fresh and warm still when you eat Also with a huge line up of pre-orders flying out the door by the ½ and full dozen, they need to maintain this business model just to keep up with the orders. They offer two sizes; a small($ 1.80 each) and large($ 2.75 — approximately I don’t recall the prices exactly but that is close). For a snack with a coffee the small is more than you will need but if you’ve got a serious sweet tooth take on a large! To put things in perspective a small is about the size of 3 – 4 timbits as one, while a large is bigger than any doughnut you’ve ever seen at Tims or elsewhere! About 10 different flavours. Chris had the classic Crema flavour which he mentioned had a light lemon undertone to it. I went all in on a Nutella filleld bombe! I soon learned that the reason they’re called a ‘bombe’ is because it’s literally like a creamy bomb went off in your mouth the moment you bite in. Totally decadent and totally worth it!!! Eat Crest Out! CASHONLY

I’ve never been inside this café… yet! However, I’ve tried this dessert that came from there, called bombe. Omg! They were so good! Very addictive my family said. Couldn’t stop eating them, soon the whole box was gone! They have different ones you can try. We had the Bombe’s with chocolate in the middle(like a Nutella taste), strawberry and apple caramel. There are more flavours I would like to try next time. I recommend trying the bombe’s at Dolce Bombe if your ever in the area.
