A great on campus option, not limited like the other university managed establishments. It serves organic/fair trade and has a lot of healthy options and a good menu. My favourite, but could have better service since they do somewhat expect tips.

How many times the same dish can be prepared wrong… On a house salad, one time no bread, next time confusion about order size, next time not enough vegetables … How hard is it to prepare the same salad … And then the«chef» argues with you because he is obviously right and makes you feel like is something that happens alllllll the time …

I have had dozen of times there my big meal of the day and I haven’t had a bad experience. There food is always fresh and well cooked. The price is quite fair and the size is usually pretty big. My favourites are the poutine that I think could be the best in the city and their veggie burger called BFG. You can combined both in one plate and your mind would blow away. Give a try, you’ll come back!

Nice casual café style eatery. Great for a quick bit or to hand for studying. In the evenings this place is quite popular among students for casual drinks. Degrees has a full menu, and pretty decent food. Nothing that will blow you away though. My brie spinach salad was simple and cheap($ 7). And had brie in it. The coffee though is where Degrees excels. Organic, fair trade if you care about that. For me, this is just an indication of the quality. A mug is only $ 1.5(or $ 1.25, I forget). For that price you might as well get two. The staff a also friendly. The space is open and bright.
