I came here for a friend’s birthday on a Saturday. This is a typical bar & billiards place, with a fair number of tables, some seating, TVs, bar and jukebox. The tables looked well kept, though I didn’t play, so I can’t comment beyond a casual visual observation. Atmosphere wasn’t bad — I was there pretty early(6:30pm?) so it wasn’t too busy yet and the place felt a little quiet. The music was a good volume, there but not loud enough to interfere with conversation. The other patrons were mostly young and non-threatening. Drinks were $ 4 each I think? When I went up to order the bar was staffed by an older man, maybe one of the owners? He didn’t know what a cosmopolitan was, but poured a decent gin and tonic. Bonus points for asking if I wanted it tall or short. My friends ordered a pizza, which I tried. It was pretty good. I didn’t stay for too long(other engagements) and it sounds like things picked up a lot there after I left. I’d go back — it seems like a pretty safe, chill place to spend an evening playing pool.
