I live nearby and thought I would stop in for a late night snack. Nobody was at the door. The place was empty except for a few drunks screaming at the tv. Nothing was clear regarding seating. I say myself at a booth and had to go to the bar to get my own menu and ask the bartender to please find a waitperson to take my order. My friends who drink beer think this place is wonderful, but service is awful, unless you sit at the bar, I guess. I won’t be back.

The atmosphere and décor are very nice, and they have a great selection of beer. However, in terms of food, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I took one bite of my peanut Pad Thai and instantly knew there was no way I could eat it. It was a terrible bowl of mushy, overcooked noodles and why too much «peanut sauce» (if you can even call it that) which completely overwhelmed the dish. The «sauce» was also gritty and so thick it left a coating in the mouth. This was the very first time while dining out that I have had a dish that was so bad I wasn’t able to eat it. The restaurant/​waitress did nothing about it, and I had to pay for the disappointing meal that was left almost entirely untouched on the table.
Additionally, as other commenters have mentioned, we also had to wait several minutes alone at the front before someone came to take us to a table (a very confusing experience), and our waitress left something to be desired.

This is the best craft beer bar in Winnipeg hands down. Over 100 taps and half must be from Canada. Staff very knowledgeable about beer and very friendly. Food is fine but beer is fantastic.

Was very excited to try out this new location, and wasn’t disappointed by the interior of the establishment. The food was excellent as well. However, the staff were enough to render the entire visit rather bitter. As I have heard from others who dined here as well, the place is understaffed or poorly managed as waiters are very slow to serve and take more orders (i.e. drink refreshing). Had an order mixed up as well. At one point my group was sitting for around 40mins without the waitress checking on us a single time.

This place is just ok. I think they should have renovated more from the previous restaurant that was there. Luxa Lune has a much better beer selection — as well as better food if you’re looking for a craft beer restaurant.

I have to say I wasn’t super impressed. It was a great space, food was solid, great beer selection, but was certainly understaffed. Customers couldn’t help but notice the pressure the staff was under. This lead to long waits between drink orders, little time for waitresses to explain selections, and no opportunities to ask how the food was. These are small things, but I’ve also found that it’s the small things and friendly interactions with customers that keep a person coming back.
Will I come back… Probably… But I won’t be rushing back. Barley Bros will need to step up its game to be in it for the long haul.

Went here with friends for dinner and had a great time. server, s was extremely knowledgeable, had great suggestions for food, beer and cocktails. Service was fast, orders came out quickly and correct, food was very tasty. I’m not crazy about beer, and even though it’s a beer place, I had plenty of other drinks to choose from. Will definitely be back great place for a groups friends to hang out. Would like to see more item on the menu.
