I’m only giving them one star because I absolutely have to pick a star… otherwise I wouldn’t even give them one star. This was possibly one of the worst costumer service experiences I have ever had. I left in near tears, holding them back in the store and than in my car. They are also refusing to take my calls now, probably screening my name. When I first went in, the older gentleman seemed nice enough, but kind of incompetent. I had to explain a few times what my problem was, and than after I left I got a call an hour later saying I had to come back with my computer because he forgot to run the test that he had to do before ordering my part. Than a few more hours later he called back saying he forgot to write down what type of screen I had(matte/glossy). It’s your job to know how to do all of these things… you shouldn’t be forgetting this. Fast forward a few days, I get my new screen and everything is ok, after waiting over an hour when it was supposed to «take only 20 minutes, you can sit and wait while we fix it». Until I get home and my computer will no longer go to sleep when I close it, wake up when I open it, and my battery life is worse than it was going in. I called and he said to bring it in. I did the next week(yesterday) because I’m a student and they’re not open late for me to come by after class. I came in and the man who fixed my computer the first time was the one I spoke to. It was HORRIBLE I nearly cried in the store and had to leave to go to my car to calm down and call apple. I explained my situation and he absolutely flat out refused to take any blame for things not working. «Sounds like a software issue to me, this isn’t a hardware issue.» Yet he had«fixed» my computer only a week before and now all of a sudden things weren’t working. He was calling it a software issue because he didn’t want to admit that he screwed up. He was getting angry with me and you could see it in his face. This was just part of the conversation that happened. Him: «Well you never know when you get head aches do you? You never know when they can happen or what causes them»(this was in reference to him saying that software issues can come out of the blue at any time). Me: «Ummmm unless I have glasses and get a new pair and all of a sudden they cause me to get head aches, than it’s the glasses that are causing the head aches if I didn’t have them before» Him: «OR you could have a Brain Tumor!»(said in an incredibly rude and condescending way). You should NEVER joke about cancer, especially to a client in the workplace. He proceeded to be a complete jack ass to me, again almost making me cry, I had to physically hold off tears. When I got home I spent an hour on the phone with apple trouble shooting and doing everything he claimed he wouldn’t do. Turns out I was completely right and that it wasn’t a software issue, but indeed a hardware issue. I am NOT going back here EVER. I am taking my business elsewhere. Sadly I found out too late that this place was awful, and honestly it should not have the authority to sell a great product. I have reported this place to Apple after hearing more than one negative story.

If you have a choice, DONOT go here if you need something fixed on your Mac. Make the trip to the Apple Store in Michigan — and believe me it’s worth the trip. If you’re buying something then I’m sure it’s fine, but if your apple item is in need of repair I wouldn’t suggest Q-D Mac Solutions. Completely screwed up my macbook pro and had no idea what they did or how to fix it. So I walked away with my laptop in worse condition and had to bring it in to the apple store anyways. Save yourself the trip!!!
