I haven’t been here in a few years. I remember them having great food, and it not being too expensive. I was visiting home for Easter and came here for a bite to eat late at night. The one plus is that the kitchen is open until 2am. The negative… the food is nothing like it used to be. The portions are definitely a lot smaller, and the prices higher. My friend and I shared the nachos and spinach dip. I remember when the large nachos were so big you could feed 6 – 8 people. Now, you can barely feed 2. I don’t think I’d want them any bigger than they are, however, b/c they were hard to choke down. I don’t think I’ve ever had nachos this gross before. I asked for no olives or jalapenos. They didn’t put olives on, but there were definitely jalapenos on them, and they were all cut up too, so hard to pick off. They put the salsa right on the nachos, which made them incredibly soggy. Personally I don’t like salsa and assumed they would have put it on the side with the sour cream like most places do. I should have double checked. They sure don’t give you a lot of sour cream either. The spinach dip was okay. Unlike the nachos, the plate was quite large and came with pitas, nachos AND garlic bread. It wasn’t the best spinach dip I’ve ever had, but it was better than the nachos that’s for sure. A friend of mine got the mexi-fries. I had my eyes on them, but opted for the nachos. The small fries was just that… small. He said they were okay. Not great though. Expensive for what you got. I’d go back and try something else if someone wanted to go there, but I wouldn’t pick it myself.
