I’m not going to review the market because I only come for the sandwiches. Place is great. Absolutely beautiful sandwiches – my favourite being the prosciutto and ricotta. But be warned. Their bread is like biting into a rugged brick. It’s hard as hell and somehow manages to be sharp too. The food is great and affordable though and they gave 99cent Arizona cans. You’re looking at a quick lunch under $ 10 and its close to the university so a must go for students. But God do I wish they would get new bread.

Best Sandwich in Windsor! Fresh quality meats and cheeses of any kind. I usually order the hot genoa and jalapeño havarti with provolone. Could eat these every day for the rest of my life! If you’re going to Subway I suggest stopping by here instead.

Go for the monster sandwich! Good price, sometimes you get amazing service other times you get ignored(depends on who’s making them and their mood). Their groceries are kind of pricey, but the sandwiches give you a filling amount of meat for a cheap price. Never had a bad meal from here, and it’s always super fresh.

The Monster Sandwich! GIglio’s(how do you pronounce it???) is a little market right next to the University of Windsor.(By the Odette Building). They have various items and even have fresh fruits and vegetables for those looking for a healthier snack during class break. For those actually looking for a meal, they have this thing called the Monster Sandwich(guaranteed to put hair on your chest). The Monster Sandwich is about 8 inches of meats, cheeses, and topping piled into a roll that is real crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. I think they make their own bread. How it works is you have your choice of 4 meats and cheeses. Which means you can get any combination of meat and cheese(4 meats, 4 cheeses, 2 meats-2 cheese, 3 meats-1 cheese, and so on). Combined with toppings, they provide you a pile of food.(All for $ 5.99) Be sure to also grab an Arizona Iced Tea on the way out. They have the largest selection of those that I’ve ever seen(AND its only $ 0.99). Buy a bunch of them if you like. You’ll be well on your way to getting diabetes… Overall, wonderful market. Good people working there(especially the older lady, she’s wonderful). And good food. Don’t miss out.

Giglios is a nice little market close to the University of Windsor campus. They have a fully stocked Deli and a great selection of meats and cheeses. This is what separates Giglios from the big box Grocery store which isn’t far away. They have a really good selection in their deli and the people who work here are friendly. They cater to the local areas needs, they have great sandwiches and overall very competitive pricing without having to go far away. I personally love the Gouda they have here, it’s very good. I definitely would go back if I were in the area
