If you are in the market for a sports bar with excellent service, a boundless selection of sporting channels, ridiculous deals, and delicious food, look no further. Buddies is the place for you. I’d direct you towards the perfectly cooked calamari. Chris, the proprietor of this local watering hole, knows his way around the kitchen and never fails to deliver his more personalized twist on sports bar favourates. The staff are diligent and friendly. Comprehensively great.

Didn’t even think service was important until I had the best service I’ve ever had at Buddies. Amazing, helpful, kind, smart, proud, happy people work at buddies.
Food is unreal. Best wings in Windsor. Delicious huge crunchy well flavoured wings. Amazing fries. Fresh stove cooked fresh pizza. Bread for burgers is BAKED fresh. Cheesy garlic bread is unreal.
They have a great cable package. Perfect for watching whatever game they kindly put in. Can watch games with sound.

Another new (ish) place on Sandwich St.
Buddies replaced an old pizza shop that was rumored to have some of the best pizza around, so expectations were a bit high. Buddies is pretty odd because it looks like a typical sports bar with a giant bar and some old fashioned tables and all, but they serve up some Italian eats like pizza and sandwiches with an Italian theme. They have your typical sports bar food like burgers and wings and such as well. The server was a hottie and was real friendly. The place is huge and seems like it would be good at night.
We ordered up 2 orders of the Chicken Parm sandwiches. The sandwiches come with seasoned fries. The Chicken parm sandwich was HUGE. Much bigger than expected. It was oven baked breaded chicken breast that was covered in marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. This was all served up on a giant round Ciabatta bun that was dusted with parmesan cheese. The chicken was great and the blending of mozza cheese and marinara kicked it up a notch. The bun was a perfect vessel for that sandwich. The fries were also great as they were seasoned to perfection.
Buddies is pretty good and I will come back for sure to try 4 lbs of wings for $ 19.99. That’s a lot of wings! Service and food was good so I definitely will be giving this place another go.
