A bit out the way if your staying close to the mountain but definitely worth the trek in the morning before hitting the hill or the road on your way home. The Canadiano was brilliant! My husband found it a little too sweet and honestly, I’m not usually a fan of overly sweet things myself but let’s face it, everything taste better with maple syrup!!! I intend to put maple syrup in my coffee at home now any time I feel like a pick me up treat!

Can you guys open a branch here in the bay area? please? :) Loved the coffee here. My fiancé and I are both coffee lovers and this is some of the best coffee we’ve had. I had the picolito(mini latte) and he tried the cap– both of which were out of this world. I also had banana bread which had little chocolate crisps in them, love it!

Great espresso! I walk in and order an espresso, the barista asks me which kind… WHAT? A choice of espresso beans? I don’t think I’ve ever encountered that predicament, most places I go to have one espresso roast. Any way I went with the Inteligentsia. AMAZING. Great roast, but also artfully crafted, the crema was perfect. I had the Elysian the following day, which was also quite good(I like the Inteligentsia a bit more). Great service. It’s not on the village stroll, but not hard to find. Close to Peaked Pies. Go, it’s worth it!

* Good beans * All the staff had strong Aussie accents(confirming that I was in fact in Whistler). The café has a nice selection of beans including Intelligentsia and Elysian. They were serving the Intelligentsia for the drinks and selling both Intelligentsia and Elysian by the bag. The espresso was passable — but the stop was a bit lighter than ideal, so it reduced the flavour impact of the beans making them taste a bit too watery and just bordering on slightly too bitter. To be fair, I tend to prefer darker stops than many. Photo: If I return I’d likely request a dark stop in the future though. They have good beans, so if prepared by request likely things would be just fine. G’day!

The exploration of coffee joints continued during our Whistler vacation — with a visit to Mount Currie Coffee Company. It’s located right in between Peaked Pies and The UPS Store. Ordered the usual iced Americano — with room for cream. Drink was strong and delicious! There is limited indoor seating here. Highly recommended for all your caffeine needs!

This was the closest coffee shop to where we were staying. It was really busy the morning when I walked in. There were 4 or 5 people working behind the counter. While I was waiting for my coffee, a line began to form. Pretty soon there were 20 people crammed into this small space. I’m not sure if they got my order right but my latte was quite weak and I ordered double shots. They also have pastries, sandwiches and wraps.

This is a fantastic place for coffee. I only drink Americano’s and Mount Currie has a great one. I got my wife the Canadiano(something different to try) and it was received with a ‘wow, this is really good’ by her. I guess everything does taste better with maple syrup. Nice staff, quick and quality coffees.
