Asian Curry House

This place is delicious and very authentic, best food in the area. We had the lunch Buffett.
The cooks are from India so they really do a great job.

My wife and I recently went to the new curry house to try it out. There is a menu, about half Indian and the other half western, Italian, and Chinese. Needless to say go for the Indian stuff, it’s what the restaurant is there for.
There’s also a buffet ($ 17.99 at dinner), with (that night) butter chicken, chicken curry, goat curry, daal, vegetable curry, and chickpea curry, as well ass samosas, tandoori chicken, naan, and a few things I forget. All were very tasty, with distinct flavours and very temp deer meat (especially the goat, if you can manage all the bones). The samosas were the best I’ve had. Desert was fruit or homemade mango or rice pudding (the rice pudding could have used more spice).
I had a beer (one of three Indian brands available). Service was good and the manager was very friendly. I wasn’t bold enough to suggest it in person, but some chutney, yoghurt raita, and maybe tamarind sauce for the samosas would be good additions to the buffet.
All in all I’m thrilled to have a remarkably good Indian restaurant open in Wetaskiwin. Hurray!
