This is a review of the Icebreaker Sample sale that was held Nov 7 — 8, 2015 at the Empire Hotel on Robson Street.
Once a year, Icebreaker holds a sample sale in November for up to 70% off.
If you spend $ 100 on Saturday, you will receive a 10% coupon for Sunday.
This is not the place to bring your kids as there’s a long wait to get in & once you’re in; you’ll spend at least 1 hour choosing & trying on clothes.
There are no mirrors or dressing rooms.
Best to use your cellphone to see how the clothes fit.
Also, best to wear a one piece bathing suit so you don’t feel self-​conscious about trying on clothes in public.
On Saturday, don’t buy any accessories; water bottles, bags, scarves, toques, mittens as these will be another 50% off on Sunday.
Grab all the clothes you want, then find a place against a wall to try them on.
They only accept debit or credit, no cash.
Even though, it’s up to 70% off; you’ll be spending a minimum of $ 300.
Be prepared to take a big hit to your wallet.
But it was worth it… looking forward to next year.
