I did a walk-in order for take out: 1 — their menu was unusual to me. Teriyaki Rolls(beef/chicken) was not on the menu so I asked if they had it and the waitress took the menu and could not find it. She asked a co-worker and she said they can make it. Cool 2 — waited what felt like forever especially with a seven year old waiting with me. 3 — the sushi(California, dynamite & Teriyaki) was ok! Nothing great! 4 — the dining area looked good tho with the traditional booths that you can take off your shoes and sit. I will probably visit again but next time dine-in

Gave this place a second chance tonight and confirmed I def won’t be returning. Hubby had a sunonomo salad that was mushy and none of the rolls were great, tempura was on the verge of being burnt. Prices aren’t that different from anywhere else but other places are a heck of a lot better not to mention better location than this place. Bah!

I have been eating here for a very long time. Over the last year I have been noticing a decrease in quality on the food. At my last visit the tempura was soft and greasy, rather than crisp and crunchy. The service is attentive a quick and the layout is great. I am hoping that they get the food quality issues worked out as there are few options for eating in that part of town(which is near my office).

Amazing sushi and lunch bento boxes. A really great atmosphere and staff. For sushi and japanese food in Victoria BC, my favorite is defiinitely Yoshi Sushi.

Yoshi’s has been our sushi choice in Victoria for 20 years. We keep coming back because the food is great and the service is fast and friendly. It is not the most imaginitive menu but there is always something I want to eat.

Yoshi Sushi are definitely on the more expensive side for sushi, especially sushi in Victoria, but that’s because they’re also some of the very best. One star off for cost, location(they’re out near Gateway Village) and occasional wait time. But I’ve never been disappointed or sorry I went, and have always left with a full, happy stomach, and a runny wasabi-nose.
