Better than «As good as It gets!» These guys are Outstanding! This business is the definition of great customer service. They are professional, ethical, knowledgeble, can translate tech speak to English and patiently answer any and all concerns. After a horrific experience with the Geek Shop in Sooke; these guys have restored my faith in humanity. Oh yeah, and they fixed my Mac as well. No need to go anywhere else.

I was having MacBook Pro woes. Ya see, I reside in California and had to come up to Victoria because of a family emergency. My folks are elderly and don’t subscribe to anything that resembles internet connectivity (arrgghhh). I’m using a handy dandy Rogers air card so I can get in touch with civilization. ;) Well, the little card was not using bits and bytes of data… it was wolfing and gobbling down the data to the tune of 300MB in a mere 5 minutes (no, I was not streaming video, gaming or anything of that nature). I was just checking email and pulled up Google!
To the rescue, Soho Computer Services. I brought my laptop in and the friendly guy — Karl (forgive me if I’ve spelled his name incorrectly) — told me that it’d be a couple of days before a tech could troubleshoot. I explained my family emergency situation to him. He then offered to have a quick look and POOF! he showed me what to look for on the Activity Monitor (I was very apparently looking at the wrong tab). He offered some advice like shutting down Adobe Creative Cloud, Dropbox and other apps that were on auto update and consume data. I’m a happy camper now. It sounds simple but we don’t always think simply.
Thanks Karl for giving me a few minutes of advice. Based on the friendly, helpful reception I received, I would not hesitate to return to Soho to help them solve my Apple computer issues. You should not hesitate either. Plus it looks like they have a great selection of Apple products. I’m dreaming of a brand new MBP now. ;)

I was dealing with Restart computers to get my macbook fixed. They made it a paper weight, and left me empty handed. I brought it in to SOHO and it was fixed within days. Super easy to deal with, and will be coming here from now on if I ever have any other issues. Thanks!
