I felt that it was necessary to update my previous review by talking about their meat and cheese selection.
As someone who is new to eating meat, and still really hesitant to eat any meat at all, Peppers has an amazing selection of local, organic meat and they have a great selection of gluten free sausages and salamis. It actually blew me away the selection of local, organic, gluten free meats they had, and are very affordable.
I also wanted to talk about their cheese, because everyone loves cheese.
I am really impressed that they have a lot of island cheeses from Hilary’s or Coombs, Saltspring, etc. There are a number of really good cheese makers on the island and the fact that Peppers carries a number of them is a huge plus in my books!
