I’m really impressed with this locations service & quality of food. The time was 8:48pm when they close at 9pm. I called to place a pick up order and the lady who picked up was assertive yet courteous. She took our order knowing our order would be 15 minutes and upon arrival to pick up the order at 8:59pm she was still checking with the kitchen if she can place orders for patrons who just walked in. They definitely put the effort in to get you fed and the quality remains the same across all locations(from my experience). Both my friend & I were impressed with this experience. Did I mention the food was amazing also. She had the Pad Thai and I had the Green Curry w/side of steamed rice. Yum!

Went here is it’s a favorite of a family member. Lots to choose from on the menu. We ordered the Gang Karee, Pad See-Ew, steamed rice and Crispy Duck. It came to the table quickly and hot. The Pad See-Ew is a must have. Enjoyed it more than Pad Thai, and I love Pad Thai. The Crispy Duck was a hit at our table as was the Gang Karee, although a bit spicy for my palate. That didn’t deter anyone else, it was more for them :) Sadly there was no dessert on offer. It would have made a nice finish to our meal. The waitress just brought our bill and that was that. We were in and out in about an hour as well. Made me feel like we were being turned around quickly so they could fill the table again, although the restaurant was not full that evening. The cost for the meal for 3 of us came to around $ 50. Pretty good IMO. I’d go back, but maybe take out so I can linger over my meal without feeling like I was being rushed. Oh, and there’s dessert at home as well.

We’ve had a couple of pleasant meals here. The waitstaff try hard and the food is OK. There is a fair bit of takeout traffic, which, together with the very basic tables and chairs makes for not much atmosphere. There is some nice art on the wall and a pair of interesting crystals as well. Recommended as a low-cost quick tasty meal.

Great food & service! Came in to pick up some takeout for a large party & food was excellent. Will definitely go back next time in town.

I’ll start by saying HB and I(HB more so) are addicted to the Shelbourne location’s chicken pad thai. He used to get withdrawal tremors when we first moved to the mainland and couldn’t find a Little Thai Place pad thai substitute. It’s all that tangy, ketchupy goodness. This location was closer to us so HB ran over to pick up pad thai and some soup for little sick me. Actually I was really wanting fish, but their seafood soup was as close as it gets on a rainy, cold and gray Friday night in Victoria. Unfortunately, both the seafood soup and the pad thai missed expectations. The soup tasted like tom yum goong except it was overly flavoured with fish sauce that it turned out to be this salty, briny mess. Fish sauce is traditionally used in Southeast Asian cooking so finding it in this soup is normal. What’s not normal is the amount of it they put in. I also found chunks of lemongrass in it(which is not pleasant to be eaten at all), like the cook got too lazy to take the inedible herb flavouring out. It could be that’s just the way they make it, but I have had the same soup in Thailand, and I can assure you that lemongrass is like what a bay leaf is in North American soups. It’s meant to flavour the soup but taken out when served because it’s just not meant to be eaten! I couldn’t avoid it and ended up biting into one and it’s horrible. They then overfilled the pad thai container so we ended up with this soggy mess. It’s supposed to be a «flash-fried» noodle dish for crying out loud. Next time, we’ll go to our favorite Shelbourne branch. No surprise here with the inconsistency as all the branches have different Thai chefs. That’s also the reason why they serve some dishes at some locations and not at others. I’ve been told their Thai chefs have different specialties.
