I found that while Dr. Singh did an adequate job, overall I was not impressed. I’m not sure if the fee is standard across the board, but 85.00 for maybe ten minutes worth of his time seemed excessive. When the exam was done, he suggested we proceed with a contact lens fitting, which was an additional 30.00, and as it turned out consisted of nothing more than me walking down the hall to another room, where his assistant opened a drawer and handed me my trial pair. She did not tell me to wash my hands before I touched the lenses, nor did she offer me a contacts case or a bottle of solution. She didnt even tell me what kind of lenses I was wearing. Are they weeklies, or monthlies? After putting in my contacts there was another eye chart test in the other room, where it was determined that I needed a stronger prescription in one eye. He suggested I can either just keep wearing the lens that is too weak, or I could, for an increased fee, go with a Toric lens for that eye. I was never made to wear such a lens when I bought my contacts from my old optometrist(whom I loved but is no longer in operation); he had simply increased the strength for the weaker eye and I made sure to keep the left and right lens separate. Overall, I found that the office was drab and uninviting, and both the doctor and his assistant seemed to wish that they were anywhere else but at work. I will not go back.
