Yogibar Frozen Yogurt

A recent addition to the local kosher strip mall, Yogibar offers all of the excitement of the big frozen yogurt chains, without fear of breaking a commandment or two.
Think of it as a scaled-​down version of what you’d expect, and your expectations will be met. Fewer yogurt choices, all of which err on the watery side, notably the vanilla and chocolate, which lack the textural heft of Yogurtys or Pinkberry. Seinfeld to the contrary, I can totally believe this is low in fat.
A condiments bar is policed by quasi-​helpful yogurt jerks who spoon small tablespoons instead of the heaps you can apply yourself elsewhere (although bonus points for a few inventive toppings like the «flake» bar-​one of Kosher gastronomy’s great gifts to the goyim).
All of this is squished in a cramped orange-​yellow environment that is readily taken over by a few large families.
Yogibar benefits from a captive audience.

Yogibar Frozen Yogurt is certainly an exciting new addition to the neighbourhood.
Kosher certified as this is great for the Jewish community.
Set up is similar to Menchie and Yogurty’s, self served yogurt with numerous toppings of fresh fruits, nuts, chocolate and others.
The deco is bright and loud, full of energy.
Please note opening hours. close at 3 pm on Friday and reopen sundown on Saturday.
