Great brow shaping, lack of cleanliness. I went consistently for a few years until they kept ceasing the use of scissors, then they’d use them again, then they’d stop. So finally I asked what the issue was, I was informed it was a sanitary issue since they didn’t have a functioning sink, they have a sink… But it didn’t work. Which lead me to my next question, well how do they wash their hands after touching the face of each client? The response: we use hand sanitizer. Never went back. Felt pretty disgusted that I went for so long before I caught on!

The ladies here do great shaping work and work with what suits your face instead of what’s in fashion. I have gone to a few other places but they were never as good as Frida Brow bar. Though eyebrows are«sisters and not twins» I always leave with my eyebrows looks symmetrical. I will continue coming here as I am never disappointed and the price for Brow shaping is $ 10 before tax which is on par with the price of other places providing Brow shaping services. The only annoying thing is how the employees will try and upsell you. When I said I had the Brow pencil the lady then went with her sales pitch of selling facial Cleanser and was very persistent. This happens 50% of the time depending on who you get.

3.5 stars The good? –the results were nice –15 minutes –only $ 10 for brows The bad? –really pushy for you to buy the face wash, exfoliator, brow pencil and brow powder. After I said no to the brow pencil and powder she then proceeded to pitch me about the face washes. After i said no 2 times when I went to pay at the counter, she asked me AGAIN. My god woman, what part of NO do you know understand? –location(it’s literally a booth in the middle of the walkway) –I think because i didn’t buy anything she didn’t want to give me the brow card, so make sure you ask for it if it’s your first time!

I’ve gone to Trade Secrets for years to get my brows threaded/waxed and though I have no complaints of the place, I wanted to try somewhere new. I finally got to try this brow bar after deliberately neglecting my brows to the point they looked like Amazonian brows so I could really judge their skills. I got my brows waxed by Manjit. I was really impressed her service from start to finish. She threaded areas near the lash line that I’ve never had done before and it did not hurt as much as usual. At the end of the threading process, she filled out my brows with a pencil and brow gel they also sell. She then continued to thread here and there and I was happy with that because it shows she wants her job to be perfect and thorough. I really expected to pay an arm and a leg but it was only $ 10 and on your 11th visit, you get a free brow service!(Get a stamp card for that offer). This place also offers other services like facials but I think I found my new go to brow bar!

Frida Brow Bar is a natural, luxurious brow shaping and facial hair removal concept that uses the ancient, time-honored threading technique. It is located in one of the Kiosks inside Vaughan Mills facing Hockey Life. For $ 10 you can have your eye brow shaped, which is quite reasonable and it takes around 15 minute or so. The location is a little awkward as you are really in the middle of the aisle and there are shoppers walking around while you went through the«hair removal» treatment. I secretly hope no one saw me in tears and sweat while my brow getting threaded. The girl might try to sell you facial products and can be quite persistent. Just make sure to get a frequent customer card and you can get a free treatment after your 10th!
