I remember the days when nothing said «I’m from BC» like a good ol’ Westbeach hoodie. Perhaps sporting the WB logo still sends this message, but it seems that this method of communication is ebbing.
If you want to be a WB poster-​child, you’ll find the familiar brand all over t-​shirts and hoodies here. They also carry other board/​surf/​skate brands in a variety of clothing for men and women. Upon my visit, the colours were pretty bright, but other than that nothing really caught my eye.
The two staff members took a slight pause in chatting with each other to acknowledge my entrance into the shop. It didn’t take long to complete the loop of the store, scope the threads and realize it did not have the style of boarding outerwear we were looking for.
