Ehh, I think for me this pizza is pretty forgettable. That might be a bit unfair. This place at least serves a unique slice. And that alone deserves some recognition, given how many pizza places in Vancouver seem to be following the same boring recipe. You know the kind, with a nasty thick cut meat and sesame seeds on the crust. At least this place is different from those. But their sauce is really sweet, like the kind used in a kid’s canned pasta. Its flavours clashed and failed to satisfy this hungry person.

Pizza is pretty good. 2 slices and drink for $ 6.30. Limited variety of pizza at lunch. More expensive than Uncle Fatihi’s across the street. Be sure to count your change. I’m often sorry changed here and have to request the right amount back.

Love it here, a little more pricey than other places like Fresh Slice, $ 6.30 for 2 slices and a pop, but worth it! Haven’t been anywhere else for pizza by the slice since. I like that they ask if you want herbs and spices. The pizzas are way bigger than anywhere else Ive been. Also the sauce is a lot better than anywhere else around, more tangy/sweet. The spinach pizza is really good!

Pizza was great… but I asked for a cup of water and was refused? The seating was bar stools I found them uncomfortable. &NO washroom??? Like I said the pizza was great but I won’t go back.

I see a lot of positive reviews but we just received a sloppy, undercooked mess! Overpriced… especially the Greek salad which was mostly black olives and green onions. $ 35 for veg pizza and salad! Forget it!

Awesome pizza! Great sauce, great toppings and great crust, and no sesame seeds which seems to be a strange Vancouver thing. Owner is a nice guy and is willing to chat, or leave you be if you don’t want to. Highly suggest this place if you’re looking for good by-the-slice pizza. Uncle Fatih’s just doesn’t compare.

When so am in Vancouver and want a quick bite I stop here as the price is reasonable and the pizza is delish. Thin crust with tasty toppings, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. They ask if you like spices and herbs which are a great compliment. I was there last Sat evening and they didn’t have much left but I bought a few slices anyways. When they warm the pizza it is pretty tasty. The guys who work there are pretty friendly too. Definitely above the competition across the street.

Got the Vampire Hunter,(Roasted garlic, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms & feta cheese) extra large 18′, two of us could only eat ½, so pizza for breakfast? Well it’s Friday Night, and cold pizza is a good brunch for the morning(afternoon) after. With all the roasted garlic. might not be the best social selection! They arrived 20 min later than promised, driver blamed it on traffic, had to warm it up a bit, but tasted great. Think next time we’ll try it at the restaurant, I’ve been told it’s best straight from the oven.

Do not call for delivery. Unreliable picking up the phone, no deblit/credit machine at the door, delivery person doesn’t have change for large bills. Too bad since the pizza is pretty good. Sauce is sweeter than I’m used to but the toppings are piled generously. This place is definitely better as a walk-in joint because the pizza itself doesn’t hold up very well in a box for 30 mins. Quite disappointed with delivery service though, since for a pizza spot, having sub par delivery seriously hampers an entire segment of customers.

I had an unfortunate experience with Unforgettable Pizza. I ordered 6 x-large pizzas for a work meeting with 15 people. Most of the pizzas were supposed to have meat on them, but that’s what went wrong. Of the 15 people who ate the pizza, not one of them found meat in it. Most of them just had mushrooms and oregano. When I called, the person who answered the phone simply denied it. I called the next day to speak to the owner, he called me back later on that day. He apparently heard about the incident and wanted to simply give me a free pizza. I asked to have a partial refund instead, but he didn’t agree. Unforgettable pizza? Yes, but not in a good way. We will not order from them again, not me, nor any of my staff. I even took pictures of the pizzas, in case anyone needs proof.

Yeah, agree. It’s great! Used to be Uncle Fatih’s. Now I’m converted! :) Came back to Uncle Fatih’s last time, and it’s confirmed that I am converted!

The crust and sauce in this place is truly the tastiest in town for non-gourmet(i.e. Nicli Antica, Pizza Farina) pizza. The place across the street from this guy is cheaper by $ 1.00 but theirs is really low quality in comparison. He always has a hockey game going on the screen and is a friendly personable guy. This place is great.

Ok so I figure that three is a nice average number to rate my experience… The pizza is great, that gets a five. The mouse running across the floor gets a one and therefore my review is a three. My bf loves it… But I am sorry the mouse running through the restaurant put me off for life… He can continue coming here… But I am not sure I will! Just saying…

Unforgettable Pizza is in my top 3 local pizza establishments in Vancouver. If you’re after a hearty man-slice o’ za, this is your joint. Great ratio of toppings to sauce to cheese to crust… not to mention to price! Great little gem of the city that could easily be overlooked if you didn’t know where it was. Just the way I like it! Keep up the great work, Rod.

This place rocks! best by-the-slice that I am aware of in town. A friendly fella who calls everyone ‘bro’ with a smile(well, all the guys anyway), he serves up PROPER slices, the sauce is rich and tasty, it has FRESH herbs and spices, instead of your standard phoned-in superthin stuff. Why oh why would you ever go across the street to Uncle Fatihs when this place TOTALLYSURPASSES in terms of ingredient quality, amount/quality of cheese, slice size, etc etc etc. superior in every way! Oh so you can’t drown your cheapo pizza in ranch dressing? That ish is bad for you anyway, OK? Believe me, once you taste unforgettable, you will have no desire to cover your za in greasy sauce… Another nice thing is that both their meat and veggie options are solid, often its one or the other at by-the-slice spots. so this place is a great option for the carnivores and vegetarians alike. They have a sign near the front that says WARNING: PIZZAADDICTIONMAYOCCUR — its there for good reason. watch out.

I ordered from their online menu which looked interesting and yummy. We ordered the vegetarian 14″ pizza listed at $ 16.99. The man on the phone was not friendly, actually just abrupt. They called us back to ask if we were paying cash or card. I asked the total and he told me 22 something. Hmmm. Interesting math. He then told me that their price for this pizza is $ 17.99 and I told him online it states $ 16.99. He didn’t care. Too bad for us. Also they charge $ 2 for delivery. If we pick it up it will cost $ 18. That just doesn’t add up. They said 20 – 25 minutes wait but it arrived after 50 minutes. The ingredients seemed cheap and the sauce was more like a can of tomato paste smeared on the dough. There was way too much clumpy cheese and the pizza was salty. I suppose it was also my fault for thinking that this would be a fire wood oven bake, but it’s not. I can’t blame them for that wrong assumption, though. All in all, unfriendly phone service, unpleasant pizza and terrible math skills. If the pizza was really tasty, I may have overlooked everything else, but it was awful.

Unforgettable Pizza was my latest attempt to find good local baked lasagna by delivery. I ordered online. They have a $ 20 minimum so I added cheese bread and a spicy beef wrap to bring up the total with my baked lasagna. The estimated delivery time was 50 minutes, which, for fifteen blocks seams like a long time. You can imagine my disappointment when my prepaid food took 80 minutes to get to me. I won’t let that taint my opinion too much though;it is about the food in the end. The food was delivered in three small extremely greasy and flat paper bags. Inside one was a baked lasagna in a takeout tin that looks promising! I opened the second bag and pulled out something soggy(oh oh) wrapped only in wax paper. After about 5 minutes, I finally pried enough paper from what I still think could have been cheese bread made for dad by a 5 year old on fathers day. The third bag contained my spicy beef wrap, also weekly wrapped in a chunk of wax paper and placed in what could only be a custom built, flattened paper bag. A restaurant simply would never pack food this way so it must be a theme or something. Okay, so i remind myself that in the end it’s about the food… The cheese bread had the texture of sogginess and oil with a splash of grit for good measure. I won’t mention the taste because it’s pointless. The spicy beef wrap was so flaccid, soggy, lukewarm and confused that only managed three bites. There was more filling going on then I could count and a McCains Pizza Pop has more flavor. Now for the lasagna. As soon as I opened it and saw the large chunks of broccoli and cauliflower poking out from the baked cheese, I knew it would have to be graded on a different scale. I was hoping for a traditional meat and tomato sauce baked meal. What I got was half a garden salad, some grey ground beef, mixed with ricotta between three layers of noodles under a think blanket of baked cheese. It surprisingly tasted okay… But just okay. Unforgettable pizza? I may have to try that one day… After all, the other food will certainly be hard to forget, no matter how hard I try.

Not the best pizza we’ve had but certainly better than most. The flavours were great for the most part — thought the tomato base could’ve used some additional flavouring it was quite bland, the toppings very fresh, loved the cheese before the toppings — it always tastes better that way. Little disappointed in the quantity of toppings, they seemed a little too few and far between. The crust was not as we expected from the pictures they have posted, it is thinner than others but not the thin crusty authentic crust they picture — it was good though. Lost half a star for atrociously long delivery time, they originally told us 40 minutes — and it was an hour and 10 minutes before the delivery guy arrived. When we called after 55 minutes they told us the delivery guy was stuck in traffic… it was a Wednesday night and I can walk there in 15 minutes, not impressed. Paid close to $ 50 for two large pizzas… might try again, but we might keep looking.
