Had a work shirt that the idiot user stained by forgetting to cap his pen. Big. Blue. Stain. They took a look at it — looked at the user’s wife with sympathy(pity?) and promised to do their best. Returned it with apologies«couldn’t get it out» and a token fee. Well the stain is about this big() now and not even visible. Idiot user is impressed. Extra friendly service — fast check in and out — work done when it’s promised to be done. Never an issue in the many years we have been customers.

I posted an issue I had with Tuesday’s before on Unilocal, however how they addressed the issue was top notch. I had Lisa(owner) contact me regarding the negative review, she immediately apologized for the customer service person and told me to come in and bring the shirt. She washed the shirt and had it for a few days where she fixed the problem, however she went above and beyond by washing it as I would at home. She informed me that if I were to wash it myself I would continue to have this problem, she then said she would pay for the shirt and call the manufacturer and take care of it herself. I admit, I spoke to fast and should’ve contacted her directly. I’m more than pleased and to say the least shocked on how well she handled and dealt with the complaint. I will continue dropping off my shirts there knowing they are in good hands.

I am surprised by the negative reviews regarding Tuesdays Drycleaning. I have brought dry cleaning here since the mid 1990’s. I have never had items returned stained, shrunken, torn, or wrecked(I have had this from other dry cleaners). When we moved out of Kits i went to a cleaner in our area who shrunk all shirts taken there and stained another one so they were no longer usable. When Lisa heard she offered to recommend a cleaner near our home. We elected to drive across Vancouver to stick with Tuesdays! That was 1999 and we come here to this day. They are not the cheapest but I would rather pay a bit extra for the clothes that require dry cleaning and know they will be properly cleaned.

Best drycleaners in the city! Jack the tailor is wonderful. I would trust him with anything. Staff(including Jack) are incredibly warm and friendly, very helpful and have a willingness to please. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience with Tuesdays Drycleaners. I brought them my wedding dress the DAYBEFORE I had to leave for my wedding, having just picked it up from alterations and noticing it was dirtier than I remembered(I bought a sample dress). They showed me one option for spot-cleaning, but were worried it might further damage the already fragile silk organza, and then decided it would be best to completely clean, and press the entire garmet. Without prompting, they promised to have it ready by 10am the next morning, and then called me at 8:15am to tell me it was ready for pick up. We grabbed it literally en route to our wedding, and it looked absolutely brand new, cleaner than I even knew it could be. They put it in a new bag as not to dirty it with the old one, and were amazingly sweet and well wishing. I will be taking my dress back to them for a final cleaning before storage, as well as my husbands J. Crew suit, and all of my future drycleaning from this point on. Really spectacular customer service, beyond five stars.

Dry cleaning is always an exorbitant expense but I would rather trust a professional result than quibble about price. Don’t get me wrong, I find Tuesdays charging a «specialty fabric» fee on cotton products to be sharp practice(I wouldn’t exactly bring my Burlap vest in for dry cleaning). What I find most offensive about Tuesdays is the amount of waste! Each item has its own bag and paper collar and is bundled together with a metal clip. Then there’s the additional envelope, receipt, and hangers with every accessory(and I mean«every»!). The majority of this crap is unnecessary. I’m not sure how they claim to recycle every hanger when the return of reusable condition hangers has to be very low. The claim must really mean they recycle every hanger that is possible to recycle — big deal, so you’re not an environmental nazi(no Scout badge for you!) That said, the end product is good but not good enough. The excess environmental impact is a deal breaker. If they would provide an option for Green Service(not exactly green but what the hell), I’d probably return. Hope you read this Tuesdays!

I called in with some questions about cleaning duvets and pillows and Lisa(the proprietor?) was incredibly helpful with me on the phone, and it sounds like she knows her stuff and takes her business seriously. I really appreciated her explanations, and when I shopped around, the prices weren’t the cheapest, but they were fair — and so I took all my things there. Inside the place was friendly, and I feel good about having taken my things there.

I was not expecting a bill for $ 46.00 for *3* simple items. Me: «This is much more than I had anticipated» Shop: «I hope you have a nice weekend!» The staff is friendly, and had given me helpful advice about dry cleaning various items, but felt the prices left something to be desired. I’m kicking myself for not reading the reviews here first!

Meh. Service is less than mediocre. Shirts are 4.50 and suits are 23. Too much for unfriendly and mediocre service.
