Reliable retro burger joint that serves White Spot burgers in more varieties than you’d find at the sit-down counterpart. This location off of Robson Street is far better than the one on Denman or many others around the city, since it doesn’t share store space with a convenience store.

Mmm White Spot but without the busy restaurant scene! This was my first trip to a Triple O and I was highly impressed. There are plenty of seating options, from booths, to tables, to bar seating. We sat at a booth and it even came with a little jukebox. Fun! We came here for the movie ticket special after reading about it on Unilocal. We wanted to see a movie at the Scotia Theater and figured why not get dinner for a discount! The deal starts at $ 14.50 and increases depending on which burger you order. We both ordered the original with cheese and the burgers were super fresh and delicious. Love it! Tuesdays here are super cheap with burgers being $ 3.33 and a combo is only $ 2 more. Makes a cheap night out for the movies even better!

Looking for a good, affordable, restaurant quality burger, that is cheaper than walking into a restaurant, and by the time you are done, having to also lay down a tip for just residing your butt in the chair, come to this little joint off the corner of Robson and Thurlow. The mini version of White Spot, this place feels like an old diner at times, you order your food, you pay up, and you have the choice to devour whatever you just ordered. This place is never too packed, as most people order and run with their food. I have done both, with take out, and just sitting in. They have some seats outside if you like to people watch and munch at the same time. They serve a pretty flavourful breakfast here, and the fries here are good(they do have a sign that shows they are cutting up potatoes). They also serve burgers, so if you got more than some lint and coins, and could spare a little more to get yourself a real burger, than the golden arches down the block, come on down here, your stomach will be happy, and then you will go into food coma.

Wow I never thought I’d have too much food by simply enjoying a burger combo. Sooo good! Enjoyed the spicy chicken combo, fries and ice tea. Added the move ticket bonus($ 7.50 purchase now vs $ 12.50 in cinema ticket purchase)

This is my guilty pleasure. I get the the breakfast sandwich without meat, and let the oozy special sauce make a mess of me really. I used to think these sandwiches had to have some nutritional value but i think i was just living in denial. Hashbrowns are greasy, and juice is sugery. I get the the odd veggie burger but i find it’s often mushy, and i don’t like the ranch sauce with it, i prefer the triple o sauce. Why put ranch on a burger(even if it’s veggie), when you are famous for the triple o sauce? Obviously this place need a vegetarian to consult them. Chunky French fries with salt and vinegar. uhh now i want some! Milkshakes remind me of my childhood. Whitespot is a BC tradition, pirate packs(the child meal sold to kids in the main restaurants) ensured a consumer would stay hooked forever!

‘My goodness! They’ve added a sausage breakfast sandwich which is REALLY outstanding. quite tasty! My GOD, the poutine! Oof! Despite people hating gooey poutine, I happen to love it, and their rendition of it ranks right up there in the deliciousness factor! Gotta try it!

*Burger Quest* Next stop on the burger quest is Triple O’s. I wandered in here on a Tuesday and just ordered the original burger only to find out that on Tuesday’s that burger is only $ 3.50! Sweet deal, it must have been fate that brought us together. ahhh how romantic, but I digress. Probably one of the better fast food burgers I have had in Vancouver. Everything tasted a lot fresher and it even tasted like the meat had actually been seasoned properly. The sauce was good although perhaps a little too much which ends up making the bun soggy. The service was unenthusiastic to say the least. The girl looked so depressed I thought she might take out a knife and cut herself at any minute. Cheer up I thought even Shania Twain once worked for MacDonald’s, then again this girl was no Shania Twain.

* Almost free meal * I was going to catch a movie at Scotiabank Theatre( ) and heard that Triple O has a deal that pretty much gives you an almost free meal with a movie ticket. For $ 13.99 they give you a burger combo with fries and a drink and a pass that works at the theatre. Nifty! Considering the ticket at the theatre is $ 12.50, not a bad deal at all! The burger was typical for Triple O — a bit too thin for my preferences and a bit too much goopy sauce. But for a fast food burger it is better than Burger King or Mickey D’s. The fries are definitely the highlight of the meal at Triple O though. Service is exceptionally friendly as well for a fast food joint. Shockingly so! So the food is 3 stars, service is 5 stars(for fast food), and the movie pass combo marketing is 5 stars, for a total of 4 stars!
