Delicious and healthy. On top of that the owner is a sweetheart! I follow her tweets and her blog. I’m starting to feel like a stalker, tracking where she is going to be next. One way or another, I’m gonna find ya’ I’m gonna getcha, getcha, getcha, getcha One way or another, I’m gonna win ya’ I’m gonna getcha, getcha, getcha, getcha One way or another, I’m gonna see ya’ I’m gonna meetcha, meetcha, meetcha, meetcha One day, maybe next week I’m gonna meetcha… ah…

The Juice Caboose formula is pretty straight forward: you gotcha juice, and you gotcha caboose(er, truck). But the difference here is in the delicious ingredients: fresh, natural, and organic is how these liquefied lovers like to roll. Just so happens that I do too. A sap for sharp n’ sweet lemonade, I couldn’t resist their ultimate thirst quencher — even on a cloudy Car Free day their lemonade(avec berries, merci beaucoup) was exactly what I wanted. Also, rather than my usual post-drink guilt at throwing the plastic cup away, I felt a just a twang of relief to know that this particular cup will at least biodegrade. How very Vancouver.

On a warm Vancouver day, this Juice Caboose couldn’t have come at a better time. We were at the Olympic Village for the Love Your Planet, Love Vancouver festival and spotted this truck. Elated, we rushed over to the truck to find a great menu of fresh, organic juices and smoothies. Their menu is quite awesome, really, since there’s a bit of everything, fresh fruit, hemp seeds, agave syrup… I finally decided on the Bogie Smoothie: banana, rasberries, and apples. Both juices and smoothies are 16oz for $ 6, 9oz for $ 4. The drink was super delicious. Smooth and packed with fruit and flavour, this was the perfect thirst quenching healthy drink! Also, their cups are made from corn, so they’re fully biodegradable!
