This particular spot is one of the only places I’ll get a coffee to go(I tend to make my own at home 90% of the time). They make a mean long Americano(the crema is always perfect), have soy milk for free(bonus), and as a hater of unnecessary packaging, I never feel quite as bad for getting a paper cup because even the lid is compostable. Compared to the location in False Creek, only a couple hundred metres away, this place always seems a lot less busy, and even when it is, the friendly folks at the counter always seem to have a little sample of something to make the wait enjoyable.

I would have scoffed at the notion of paying $ 16 for 1kg of granola, until I met Terra Breads. I’m not laughing now. They sell this crack in grocery stores.

I simply go here for their lemonade. I’m a bit addicted. Sometimes they run out around 2pm, although those were summer days. If you love lemonade, try here.

Ever since the location in Olympic Village opened — I am a frequent eater/drinker here(albeit — I have since moved to Toronto and only get to come to Vancouver a couple times a year). I love love love it. The coffee is always so strong and tasty, the sandwiches are fresh and delicious and I love their baked goods(especially Easter’s hot cross buns!). Can’t believe I ever doubted it(although this was when it was only the Kits location). I wish they would open in Toronto so I could get my fix all the time

I came here fora basic latte and this time it wasn’t that bad. They do have some GF pastries, however, very few. They have an almond macaroon, however, it is not the kind that one is used to but rather an almond log. Different style, not the French kind. It was busy but the staff were efficient and friendly.

If you’re by here, you might as well drive a few more minutes to their Olympic Village location for better action and view ;) But if you’re short on time, and don’t mind the smaller layout. I love their cinnamon buns draped in its sauce, most people will find it sweet. Still can’t get over how they don’t make bread pudding here. Metered parking all around. Service here is generally pretty quick, even during lunch when the industrial/office workers converge here.

Amazing location with a large patio and lots of seating. The bread is amazing, the sandwiches beautifully crafted, great ingredients, great coffee, and very friendly staff. Nice also that they are licensed to server beer and wine, just in case you feel like classing up your lunch a bit!

Terra Breads has the best bread in the world! When I travel to the US or even other countries worldwide, I go to bakeries and always think, «Terra is better.» In particular, the black or green olive sourdough bread is outstanding, the cheesy mini pizza/flatbreads and baguettes are also trusted favorites. This location is bright and open, with a nice patio for sunny days and great, consistently friendly helpful service.

I love the bread. My wife used it last Christmas to make stuffing. Its not that expensive for what you get. Other places the bread may cost less but there is no substance to it. Good bread should have some weight to it. My favorite is the olive bread. Just eat it plain or w butter its deeelish. Café is clean spacious & just a delight to visit.

This is the place to go, for some sweet carb love. The blueberry white chocolate bread has always been a hit at our studio. The sandwiches are great too, I love the veggies, avocado + asiago on cheese & herb focaccia, as well as the roast turkey + chutney. I have a feeling you can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches. The bread makes a world of difference. Service is always quick and friendly!

Love love love. The breads here are soooooo great… and unfortunately also pretty pricey. But, again, soooo great! I’ve been hunting for their Chocolate Cherry Panetone for 2 years now. I tried some as french toast at Whole Foods one time, and have pined for it ever since. If you find it, BUYIT. Unless it’s the last loaf, then please save it for me.

I’ve been a granola addict ever since they started shipping it to Nesters in Squamish. Now my dad, in Alberta, is a granola addict to and I have to ship it to him on the bus every month! Recently I emailed the company to ask a question and the head baker emailed me back with an answer. Wow. thats service.

This is my favourite Terra Breads location — it’s always the least busiest! As other reviewers have mentioned, other than the terra bread umbrellas out at the front, there’s no «Terra Breads» sign labeling the store front! Weird. This location is a good size — I think it’s the biggest of them all. If you like fruity breads — the pecan and dried fruit loaf is THEBEST. It’s $ 3.95 for a demi loaf. The pistachio cranberry loaf is also amazing. Every time I go, I purchase a loaf of each bad boy if they have it. Oh, make sure you go early to any of the locations if you want a specific flavoured bread as what’s gone is gone. I’ve had the black olive and tomatoe facoccia(sp?) before and that was good too. Basically, I think everything at Terra breads is awesome. YUMMMMM. It’s pricey but soo worth it. I also love how they give you the option of having your bread sliced or not.

I guess you need to be in the know to visit this Terra Breads because there was no visible signage when I walked by. I was attracted to the large patio in front and it wasn’t until I entered that I realized what store I went in to. It is a nice bright, spacious location with a large indoor and outdoor seating area. The order procedure is very unclear, there are people scattered all over in front of the counters and there didn’t appear to be any clear front or back of the line. I just walked up to the counter randomly myself. Service was almost instant but I was a little worried that I might have inadvertently cut in front of someone because of the free-for-all nature. They carry everything that they carry at their other 3 locations, the foccacia breads remain a favorite.

I would agree with others in that it isn’t cheap but dang is it good! I dream of those scrumptious foccacia breads that are topped with either: kalamata olives and fresh tomatoes, or herbs and Parmesan, or spinach and feta. They rotate the varieties and I have never been mad at them for it. I always get the soup and some Italian bread(which I swear is like carb crack for me. I just can’t stop!) and feel very satisfied. They also do some amazing seasonal goodies that just beg from the glass case to be eaten. Be warned that you cannot just window shop here — you must eat!

I love this place! Everything is so fresh and tasty. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I love their savoury focaccia especially the potato & dill with white cheddar cheese, red onion and capers. I really enjoyed their cinnamon buns and the apple focaccia was pretty good too. Its pricier than other places, but for the freshness and tastiness that you get, I think its worth it for the occasional splurge and treat. Will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings.

If this place wasn’t the closest thing to my work, I’d probably never go there. It’s overpriced, but they have some nice breads. The lunch selections are a bit light.

It’s not a cheap lunch but if you want great sandwich on fluffy aromatic bread accompanied by a hearty soup on a cold Vancouver day look no further. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!

Upside: Pretty nice place, good food. On the downside, it’s so expensive you’ll think your sandwich is made out of gold dust, the service is either good or rough depending on who serves you and the coffees are not always well made. Last time i went, we had 2 mocha that tasted completely different. One good, one… terrible. Add two sandwiches and you end up with a 24 $+ bill. Nice place, i’m a fan. But an out-of-options fan.

Good food though on the pricey side. Sandwich soup and iced tea clock in at nearly $ 14. Definitely«gourmet».
