Does Kerrisdale Village which spans 3 blocks really need two Starbucks. I know that they’re all over the place, however, this is getting excessive as such a small village should house another unique store instead of the same thing. The inside is okay looking, not as nice as the other one that is literally down another block. The advantage is that this is at the end of the village so it is easily missed by most, therefore, it is quieter inside. There’s just no real social ambience. I had tea and hot water. It’s not rocket science. It’s pretty hard to mess up hot water and a tea bag. Customer service was friendly enough.

Worst STARBUCKSEVER! Customer infront of me had valid reciept for 60 day refund Barista tells him off(he didnt speak too much english) by telling him its 30days REPEATEDLY and yelling«no refund» «sorry no refund» Then she also told him to «come back later an hour later», «dont you see we have a line up» and«i cant deal with you right now» in a very rude manner, shouting at him from where drinks are made infront of everyone else ! Worst customer service i have ever seen at a starbucks! I am not coming back here

Typical Starbucks with friendly staff. Less hectic than the Starbucks on West 41st and Yew. This store looks small on the outside but it’s quite deep. The only thing that annoys me is that the back tables where you would want to set up your laptop is very bright, the lights reflected from your screen is very tiring. It is perfect if you bring a book to read. Lots of plugs for you to recharge.

I’m rating this place purely based on service since Starbucks is a chain and their drinks and food are virtually similar. My friend and I were confused about the receipt that looked a bit complicated so we asked for an explanation. One of the baristas helped us out very nicely and even re-explained it when we were still confused, without looking frustrated nor angry. The space does get cramped on certain days(rainy especially), so be prepared!

Why does coffee have to taste so good. Parking is available on the side streets. The thing that surprised me about this location was the size of it. It doesn’t look too large from the store front, but it goes deep. There is also bar seating available here. The place wasn’t too full, so finding a seat was no problem at all. As for my coffee, it hit the spot. Beautiful. I think I’ll go to this location more often, as the other one(1 block east of here) is always completely swamped. Maybe people simply don’t know this location exists.

I only stop in this Starbucks as a last resort when Artigiano, My Cup, and the other Starbucks on 41st are too busy. The service is fine — what you’d expect from a typical Starbucks — however, I feel like the interior of this place is always a mess with tables needing to be wiped down, newspapers left about, etc. It’s not the type of atmosphere that entices you to stay and enjoy your overpriced beverage.
