Spa Diva Esthetics Studio

I have always passed by this cute little spa place, but never had the time to try it! I am glad I made time for a visit.
First off, the place is warm and comfortable. I like how the owner Maggie doesn’t push to sell. I didn’t know what kind of facial suited my needs and Maggie was truthful but not pushy about my skin diagnoses.
I had the diva grooming facial. It was one of the most relaxed, refreshing facial I have had. I have tried other favial at high end spa places before, but nothing compares to the level of details that Maggie pays attention to my skin.
My skin was polished and cleaned. The best part was the massage!!! Wow! The preasure was just right. I didn’t know my face was so tense until I had the massage and learned how to relax. And I really like how I felt the place with a nice glow on my face. Definitely a pick me up like it says on the website.
Will consider coming in for other services.

What a great experience. Maggie is so nice and really professional. She made the whole waxing experience actually relaxing and my eyebrows look so great! I can’t wait to visit again for additional services.

Came here for a medi-​pedi today.
First Maggie used a large metal bowl to filled with warm sudsy water to soak my feet. Much more hygenic than a plastic bin. Then she dried off my feet & gave me a pair of flip flops to wear & walk over to the treatment room. Then she examined my feet & made some observations + proceeded to give them some TLC. Afterwards, she applied some cream to my feet & even between the toes. Did some foot reflexology & gave some foot care tips. She didn’t try to sell me the cream. I really enjoyed the treatment & even booked my DH an appointment.

Maggie was super efficient and communicative and made waxing far less painful experience than it can be sometimes. Will definitely be back

Maggie was AMAZING! She took wonderful care of my nails, and I’d put her neck-​to-​neck with my therapist: P It was like she was psychic and knew all my problems even if I only uttered one sentence. She even told her regular client to come back in half an hour since my mani/​pedi took 2.5 hours.
Only cons are she may talk a liiittle too much and my nails are shaped sort of lopsided.

My cousin got two facials through groupon and I must say that we never would have discouvered this wonderful spa had it not been for groupon. I am only sorry that I don’t live in Vancouver so I could get the deluxe facial regularly but I will make an appointment whenever I visit and my cousin has already booked her next appointment. Maggie is a true professional who obviously loves what she does.

I have been to MANY people for waxing and have always had a difficult time having my eyebrows waxed as they are sparse and I have been trying for years to get a thicker shape to them. I read the Unilocal reviews for Maggie and decided to give her a try.
I am happy to say that after only a few visits and professional shapings from Maggie, my brow shape is exactly what I’ve been longing for.
In addition to really listening to me, Maggie is always engaging and funny and never pushes me to buy product or for more appointments. In fact, she tells me to come in less often that I think I have to!
She has also offered to order a particular shade on nail polish that I haven’t been able to find myself and her prices are totally fair for the value of the appointments.
I would recommend Maggie and Spa Diva to anyone!

After years of fearing the pain of waxing and tired of doing my own plucking, I decided it was time to get over my issues and seek a professional for an eyebrow shaping.
I scoured countless reviews for estheticians and spas in Vancouver. The recommendations for Maggie and her little studio were so good, I had no reason not to try! It certainly didn’t hurt that she was located just a few blocks away from home.
Spa Diva is tiny, but it’s clean and comfortable and Maggie’s warm nature had me instantly relaxed. As for the brow shaping? Virtually painless and my brows looked beautiful! I find it hard to believe I waited so long to wax. Perhaps Maggie is just ‘that’ good?
Maggie also noticed my tired and dehydrated skin. Contrary to feeling self-​conscious about it, or pressured (there was no product-​pushing nor pressure to make another appointment), Maggie offered very helpful advice and I left feeling fresh and happy.
I will definitely be returning to Spa Diva.

Maggie, you’re the bomb.
I will now forever make the journey out to Coal Harbour to see this wonderful lady, whose medical assessment, attention to detail and insane massage skills made this the best pedicure I have ever had. I nearly floated out of her immaculate little spa.
A little bit more than the prices I normally pay at the cheap nail salons, but so worth it. I’ll be back!

After working a trade show yesterday, standing on concrete floors in high heels for 12 excruciating hours, my poor tootsies certainly needed Maggie’s attention!
When I arrived at this tiny, super-​clean esthetics studio inside a hair salon, she had a warm soapy bowl of comfort already waiting for my abused feet. After a nice long soak, I was taken to a separate room and seated in a reclining bed while my feet were scrubbed, buffed, massaged, polished and pampered to perfection for a full hour. As I informed Maggie, I don’t like to talk during my pedis, so the silence I enjoyed was neither uncomfortable nor unfriendly.
This is the most detailed pedicure I have ever received, and Maggie could easily charge much more than she does. I will definitely become a regular here.

I saw Maggie for a medical pedicure and she was amazingly knowledgeable about feet and nails. I will be going back again and again. Her studio is tiny but very cute and she is really friendly. I usually find the chatter with hair stylists awkward but I enjoyed her company. Her space is very clean which was the foremost thing I was looking for.

Maggie is my girl in Vancouver for a great facial or mani/​pedi.
This woman is passionate about skincare (important in an esthetician, no?)
She is thorough in her assessment of your needs and isn’t pushy about product but often gives samples of ready-​made AND handmade treatments for you to try out. I LOVE that.

i was lucky enough to have come upon this tucked away peaceful haven of relaxation just because i was born…=) yes, what i meant was this spa treat was given as a surprise bday gift!
Maggie greeted me at the door and led me right into her room. She got right down to business explaining i was about to receive a diva basic facial, a classic manicure and an eye treatment which included eyebrow touch up, massage and mask. she offered me a glass of water and then led me to my sanctuary.
it was small, dim, and cozy… serene music floating in the background. she gave me a towel to wrap myself in and told me to relax on the bed and she will be back soon.
she started with the eyebrows. and they were a mess! so i was very happy with what she did. =) all the while she is working, we both fall into a natural conversation about each other and what we do and things we value in our lives. this maggie girl is a smart cookie with big dreams… i know she will get what she wants in life. the spa is her own shop which is run by herself (and another girl, who wasnt there when i came). so if anybody comes in while she is with a patient she must leave for a minute to help them. i was so relaxed, i barely even noticed when that happened… business is great though she says. i can believe it… she’s fantastic!
after she set up warm steam bath for my face and set off to find the perfect color for my nails to show off for my bday bbq that evening. by the time she started with my nails, my face was feeling tingles underneath that wonderful steam and my eyes were resting under two soft cotton balls. i couldnt see what color she chose so i trusted her and waited for my delightful surprise in the end.
the facial was wonderful, the massage she gave was relaxing, the chat we had was pleasant, the color she chose was perfect! so me!
maggie also was able to analyze my skin while she was doing the facial and gave me recommendations on what i could do to improve the appearance and health of it.
the spa was great! but maggie is the one who made the difference due to her personable nature and genuine care in what she does.
you bet im going back. and im going to bring a friend.
