This place used to be the best sandwich shop in town. Used to being the key part of that last sentence. I will always remember when it was a hidden gem tucked away at the entrance to an alley off Cordova. Unfortunately, it is now under new management, and the quality has taken a serious nosedive. They actually had Safeway baguettes for sale. WTF? This place used to pride itself on quality ingredients. They seem to no longer have a liquor license too, so no more $ 10 sandwich and a beer specials. Stopped by today and my bread was stale, the prosciutto was cut WAY too thick which made the sandwich almost impossible to eat. The bag of home-made chips was about ½ full compared to before, and they have replaced havarti on the cheese list with cheddar. Under the old management this place was worth the relatively high prices, now you’ll get a better sandwich at Subway for half the price.
