Roots – Grandview Outlet

I shopped at this location, very friendly and helpful staff. very affordable prices for good quality roots clothes. Definitely recommend this outlet store

I love this store because there’s ample free parking and a huge selection. It isn’t the current season’s selections because I believe they get everything from the retail stores that they can’t sell. I could be wrong though, but what I see at the outlet isn’t what I see in retail stores. Then again when you’re paying significantly less than retail prices, should you be complaining?
The reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because it’s so disorganized. I get it, it’s an outlet store which is why it looks like a hurricane came through. People tend to just toss what they don’t want wherever they happy to be standing. Also, the clearance section is overwhelming for the same reason. They used to be great at doing it by size but now it’s just a free for all and you have to spend more time diligently looking over piece by piece.
I never shop at the retail full price Roots stores because I can’t justify it UNLESS there’s a shirt I must have and don’t want to risk it selling out and not being able to find my size at the outlet. In that case, sure I’ll pay full price. Other than that, this store is good enough for me.
I buy a lot of stuff from here for one reason: Roots is famous in Taiwan and it’s also effing expensive in Taiwan. A tshirt is about NT$ 1680 while a tshirt here is about NT$ 400 – 600. So when I am visiting family, I usually fill at least half my large suitcase with Roots clothing and I’m the most popular visitor.

I’m sure most of you already know how expensive Roots is, but great news! We have a Roots Outlet!!! Clothes and accessories are usually at least on discount from 20−50% or more. I think this will be a great place to bring your friends or family that are visiting from outside of Canada. Number one, Roots basically represents Canada and the beaver logo is pretty cool. Number two, their styles usually can last a long while. Number three, their clothes are quite comfortable and of great quality. Their leather hand-​bags are hand-​made with Italian leather. If you are lucky you may be able to snatch a deal from last seasons here at the outlet. This place is huge, selling accessories (shoes, scarfs, handbags, leather products etc), men, women and kids section. I have gotten scarfs that were 40 $ original price for 6 $ each. Always wait until you see the extra 40% off the already reduced items… now that’s what you call a great deal! Also make sure you check out the huge clearance section at the back of the store. Sales people are usually helpful and readily available. Tonnes of free parking available at entrance.

Roots is a Canadian clothing company. much like Fossil or A&F.
This particular place is an outlet, pretty much. Good stuff on discount!
Parking isn’t that bad, prices are great.
Selection is good as well.
Bought some stuff for my boys.
I am a huge proponent of small and local businesses. Even though I am not local to Vancouver, I can appreciate Local ideas!

To cashier Peter: you should stop chit-​chatting with the customers and get your cashier job done!!! look at the queue! there were 5 people lining up waiting while you took at least 10 minutes to complete one transaction, what the heck! you work too slow and too inefficient! stop talking and focus on your job! honestly you don’t have to fold the clothes twice and count the money twice if you concentrate!!! get things done at once!!!

Found this on the way to Grouse Mountain, it has a good selection for kids and adults, both new items (may not be as new as the stores in town) and discounted items. Less of leather goods, mostly clothing items. Discounts are generous though sometimes only the very large sizes are left. Big car park in front of the store and worth a trip out to stock up on basics, snag a deal if you like Roots.

Roots is famous for their leather goods and Canada brand. They take pride in Canada, so it’s not uncommon to find a maple leaf logo on their clothing.
It made of all high quality materials which tough and durable. They guarantee their craftsmanship and they will repair your damaged leather.
You would find off season/​discount items at outlet shop. Better deal thou!

Love Love this store! Hate that it’s so expensive in Canada. But I do have to go here at least once in my visit. It’s a little expensive but a lot cheaper than going to the Roots store.
This time there was a lot of people. I’m assuming it’s due to the Christmas vacation and a bunch of tourist here.
The workers are cool but you can’t find one on the floor if you need help. You have to go to the cashier and get one. But you maybe lucky and find one on the floor. The inventory for sizes are ehhh could be better but it is a outlet.

Nice store, it was very quiet… Not very many people come to this Roots store, but got some great deals. A pair of slipons were only $ 8! Too bad they weren’t my size, but it was my sister’s size. I also got a very nice pullover jacket from this store at a very nice price!
Been here maybe three times and I really don’t know why there are so few people here. Oh well. :)
