Ouch! These guys have been my regular dentist for quite a while, and nearly every time I go I’ve had some sort of painful trauma.
The first time they got anaesthetic on my uvula, which made it uncomfortable to swallow for 3 days. The second time they didn’t wait long enough for the anaesthetic to take effect, so it was incredibly painful in the beginning of my cavity repair. And by the time I left, my entire face was frozen.
I just went in to get work completed on my root canal that we started with my first visit, and they forgot to take the brace off my tooth. My jaw was in complete agony for 4 days because I bit down on it for a post-​op x-​ray, not aware that it was still in place due to the freezing. Like, so bad that I was doubling up on T3s and maximum ibuprofen and I still couldn’t eat/​sleep.
I went back to see them the morning after, and they told me «they’re always there for me.» With dentists like that, who needs enemies?
