I love a minimal aesthetic yo. But I don’t like the minimal aspect of the sandwiches at Q-Zizzy’s. Put some meat in there Jack! All I’m tastin is bread and lettuce! 4 times in a row. That sammy be emptier than Capone’s vault. Y’all tryin to rip Caspian off? Yo I ain’t a playa hater but I hate to get played. Never comin back to this joint. Best thing about this place is the hot pepper on the side, for real.

I wish I read all these reviews before I wasted almost 10 dollars on one sub. It was the Vegetarian one, and in terms of their cost, it probably cost them about $ 1.00 to make(with labour, etc etc). There was no ingredients, and it the worst Sub I’ve had in my life… not only that, I was starving at the end. That’s not how someone should feel after they spend 10 dollars on food. This company is not doing well, and doesn’t seem to know how to change that. This was my first visit in years after I stopped eating their Tuna sub because it’s not healthy to do so, and now it’s the last time I’ll ever eat there, even if they do a 720 degree turn and make it the best sandwich place in the world.

I had a BBQ smokehouse sandwich and a brocolli&chesese soup for lunch today. The sandwich is tasty and the soup I a bit too salty. Totally the cost performance is good. The staffs there are very friendly.

I used to go here on occasion as I work in the area and it can be an efficient sandwich pickup and get me back to my desk. Quiznos locations in North Vancouver are decent and most of my experiences at this downtown location have been average. Let me acknowledge that this is why entrepreneurs often buy into a franchise, for the brand recognition and the standardized quality. I won’t be going back after my latest experience which happened now three weeks ago. I waited a while to write this specifically to detach my emotions from the review as much as possible. Previous encounters with the staff have been cordial and the supervisor there is talkative and makes small talk as patrons order. He’s a high energy guy which is great; way better than someone slugging through their day. Some customers simply don’t want to make conversation when ordering a sandwich or exchange jokes back and forth, but still this is OK due to his general cordiality. What concerns me is with my last visit. I was behind a girl in line who ordered a Beef and Swiss melt and the lady prepping the sandwiches asked«Beef and Cheddar?», to which she reconfirmed«Beef and Swiss». I was next in line and I was asked what I wanted, and I said Beef and Swiss to which i was again asked to confirm«Beef and Cheddar?» and I reconfirmed«Beef and Swiss». I was kind of concerned as the person handling the simple task of cutting the bread was one by one repeating the orders wrong and requiring customers to repeat themselves. This is totally not a big deal and it happens. For my look of concern, I was given a sandwich stuffed with onions. I don’t know what compelled the staff to coordinate«give this guy the f*** sandwich», but it definitely happened. I’m not talking a few onions on a misorder either. I’m talking a concerted move to ramjam those things into the sandwich. I was then greeted with such politeness from the jovial supervisor I didn’t suspect anything. I got back to my desk and started eating it and had to spit it out. I removed the pile of onions and tried to eat my sandwich that still tasted of onion. The sauce had been left out, I suspect on purpose as well as the cheese — on a beef and swiss. I’ll never go back to any of the Quiznos chain anywhere ever again. I actually was sick through the weekend after eating there. You know those places where if you’re thought to be a high maintenance customer they’ll mess with your order or spit in it? That definitely goes on here. Stay away.

There was a time when Quizno’s was my favourite fast-food sandwich franchise — a hot, toasty Italian sub, complete with fresh Jalapeño peppers on the side. Their classic tagline was Quizno’s… MMMM… Toasty! Sadly, those days are gone. Order a sub here and you’ll get a soggy, lukewarm sandwich on a day-old hot dog bun. Many great varieties to choose from but they will all be soggy and on the same sub-par bread. Just look at the pictures! Quizno’s subs are supposed to be TOASTY! WTF. Too bad because the manager here seems like a nice guy and works hard. I always ask them to toast my sandwich extra, and it’s still always soggy. To be fair, other locations in Vancouver are now serving the same soggy sandwiches. Like other commentators have mentioned — quality at Quizno’s has deteriorated rapidly in the last few years. Sad.

My visit to Quiznos today will be my last. I’d like to start by saying that when Quiznos first arrived on the scene, I was practically in love with their sandwiches. I used to go every week, sometimes twice a week, for my fix. Since then, the quality has slowly deteriorated into a poor excuse for a sandwich shop. What the hell happened? I was in the mood for a gourmet sandwich from Meat & Bread, but when I arrived(quite late) they had sold out of their daily special. I wasn’t really in the mood for a triple bypass, so I steered clear of the porchetta sandwich and left. As I walked back to my office, I spied the Quiznos sign across the street. Sadly, I made the mistake of going there for a sandwich, which I now deeply regret. It was empty when I walked in, which I attributed to the fact that I was there at 2pm. But then I realized I had just left Meat & Bread across the street, which was still packed. I should’ve listened to my gut and kept walking, but I kept thinking back to the days when Quiznos was good. Plus, I had just come back from donating blood, so I needed food. I ordered the regular sized peppercorn steak sandwich to go, with added green peppers and mushrooms plus a side of the hot peppers. What I unwrapped when I got to my desk about 3 minutes later was an absolute joke. I regret not taking a photo, but I wasn’t thinking clearly. I was down a quart of blood and feeling light-headed and hungry. The sandwich was tiny. I don’t know what happened to the bread, but it looked as though Rick Moranis took his shrinking machine to the damn thing and zapped it into a miniature version of what used to be a regular sandwich. It was about the size of a hot dog bun from Safeway. You know the 8-pack of «no-name-brand, shriveled-up, poor-excuse-for-a-whole-wheat-bun» they have on sale for $ 1 in the bread aisle? It was like one of those. I know what you’re thinking — «she must have ordered the small sandwich». But no, it was the regular size. I know this, because I paid 8 friggin’ dollars for it! Anyway, I took a bite of the sandwich, hoping it would taste better than it looked. Unfortunately, I was disappointed yet again. The bread was seriously dry and the cheese had barely melted through — maybe it went through the toaster too quickly or something, I don’t know. At least I had the hot peppers to look forward to. Because I was late getting back to the office, and I didn’t have any other options, I finished it. It wasn’t inedible, but I’ve had sandwiches from airport coffee shops that have tasted fresher. Hell, I’ve had food on a plane that tasted better. Quiznos, you let me down for the last time. I will sooner go to Starbucks for a pre-packaged sandwich before I go back for one of your«freshly-made» options. Thanks for ruining my lunch. The behind-the-counter service was mediocre and left a lot to be desired, but the nice guy who was on the floor and opened the door for me when I walked in — he gets 1 star and the hot peppers get the other. Zero stars for everything else.

Well! The sandwiches are really tasty. We enjoyed those which we chose. We tried vegetable sandwich, eggs and the tuna one. We liked the whole-wheat bread they used for our sandwiches and found it somehow tender and slight oily. It has very good flavour and it was perfect. The price was cheap and the service was very friendly.

Normally I’m not a huge fan of Quizno’s because of their pricing(ie they cost more than Subway), but today I had a chance to give them a try. I must say I was quite impressed. The outside of the restaurant looks a bit older(ie beaten up), but the interior is actually quite nice. Subs range from $ 5(small) to $ 9(large + special). I had their Classic Italian. It looks like they changed their buns since the last time I was here. Instead of rhombus-shaped segments, they now use a conventional long cylindrical bun. The toppings were plentiful, and the hot pepper is always a plus. The staff were friendly, and the cashier was joking with all of us. Good times. I’ll definitely be back.

Great Classic Subs here. good prices also. There are 3 types of sizes. Italian Classic and Classic Club are my favourites.
