12÷11÷15 Stop #4: Overall 4.5. Oh Haaawwwt diggity bomb! I wish they were in San Diego! It’s one of those pay by the weight fro yo places. But what I loved about it is that the ingredients, lots of stuff was organic, healthier etc. See my pic of the sign of what makes them different. I had mint, pomegranate, graham cracker and this tart flavor fro yo all mixed in. YUMMERS! Love their colors of the store, cups and colored straws. Super friendly workers. Took pics for us. Docked half star for cost. 3 of us almost $ 20. Price is expensive, but not anymore so than a US fro yo place. And at least this place is higher quality. Just a fun treat from Auntie spoiling her favorite niece :) TIP: They were having a Christmas promo, buy $ 25 gift card for $ 20. Didn’t see that til after Auntie paid, otherwise we would’ve done that and basically gotten $ 5 worth of free product. Oh well. May the Unilocaler who reads this take advantage of that dealio. Aaaaaaannnnnd…FREEWI-FI. Loved being to post in real time on FB and do my Unilocal-Ins.

This is a public service announcement… DONOTEATTHECHOCOLATEFUDGESORBET! It is really disguising. Thankfully the fruit punch and mango were good. This place gets packed after school and work. They now sell to go bars. Customer service. Price was decent. Be careful of the gummies as they are heavy and do add up at the til quickly.

Decided to get my yogurt with a waffle yesterday. Let me just say the waffle was so stale I about chipped my tooth on it. Told the guy at the front about it and he said I could help my self to a new one. Second waffle was even more stale if that was even possible. I know it’s winter and all but I think they can afford to throw out their stale waffles.

This is my favourite place for frozen yogurt and every other time I go anywhere else I am disappointed. They always have great flavours and all the fresh fruit toppings you could ever want. I like the fact that they switch up some flavours but always have the good old stand bys like vanilla and sugar free yogurt. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile. It’s also a huge bonus that Steve Nash gym members get a discount. Love this place!

I am sad. what more can I say. First they removed the Dulce de Leche(18g sugar per 125ml). Then they removed the Greek yogurt(11g sugar per 125ml). That’s the one with all the good probiotics. Then they introduced the new organic series, these flavours have way more sugar.(25g of sugar per 125ml so ¼ cup) A few days ago the Greek returned! I walked up to the mall for my tasty treat and today, Sunday, 5pm they’re out of Greek again. The sign was up but when I pulled the lever down, nothing. :(There is two machines offering chocolate and the rest are being converted to organic flavours. Too bad, I actually left the store with nothing today. I hope they do not plan to convert it all to organic.

Don’t get overly excited when choosing ingredients. You might end up paying a lot more than you expect. Its $ 1.97/100g Lots of variety in yogurts and toppings. My fav is still the original tart yogurt. It’s more unique and fresh tasting the all the other sweet ones. I do still love the other flavours too but in smaller doses.

So this place is horribly run every time I walk into this joint. I swear the people don’t know what they’re doing. I ordered one of their fruit smoothies and it took forever to make, the girl behind the counter running back and forth. However, the taste was really good! But they didn’t have any lids because they«ran out.» Who runs out of lids!!! They didn’t even tell me until she just handed me the smoothy and I asked for a lid… and she responded«oh yea, we ran out.» I swear the manager was right there too and didn’t say anything. I just stood there dumbfounded and explained that it would be a bumpy car ride now, angered by this. So long story short, I spilled my smoothy all over my new blouse thanks to them. 6 dollars wasted. Thanks Qoola. You suck.

It was my first time at this Qoola location and I love the storefront. The staff were extremely friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the products. The froyo was labelled: gluten-free, probiotics, low-fat.(Which is great for a health nut like me!) Was offered samples of different yogurt as well. The toppings also seemed plentiful. Especially loved the rainbow mochi balls. Now, when I went to pay I was a bit shocked at the price. It was $ 5.24 after tax.(I’ve paid for more at other places.) Trust me on this one. I get a lot of froyo. What I’m trying to say is that I didn’t order a lot of yogurt, nor did I OD on the toppings. The yogurt didn’t even fill half of the cup. I would say 1⁄3 filled. I noticed that the cashier put the spoon in with the cup before measuring. Not too sure if this is standard procedure(never paid attention to this to be totally honest). Btw, I’m not being cheap but I was just a bit puzzled at how such a tiny portion of yogurt cost me $ 5.xx when I’ve been to Menchie’s and Pinkberry and had a heck of a lot more yogurt than that for the same price. It was quite literally 5 – 6 bites. That or there was something wrong with the scale. Just outta curiosity, went home and measured the cup and spoon. It costs $ 0.54-ish just for that. LOL. Another thing I want to say is that the froyo melted extremely quickly. That was a bit disappointing for me because the pistachio and peanut butter became a puddle before I finished my last bite. And that was only 5 bites… maybe the machine wasn’t cold enough or it was hot outside. Not sure about that. All in all, yours truly will still be going to Qoola. Btw, never had issues with the metro location! 3.5 stars.

Guilt-free frozen yogurt alert!!! I’ve been to Menchie’s, Yogen Fruz, and I’ve heard about several other places like Scoop! in Kits. For topping selection, I would say that Qoola wins the prize and Kenneth N. does a good job of describing the flavours available. To add to that list, I would include: cookie dough bites, fruity pebbles, mini peanut butter cups, green tea and regular mochi and fresh fruits. There are still more I can’t remember. On the day I came here there were 10 froyo flavours to choose from: cookies & cream, pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, New York cheesecake, original, strawberry & banana, greek yogurt, raspberry pomegranate, and mango tango sorbet. Most of them are fat free and contain probiotics. It makes it an almost guilt-free treat if you don’t put on too many toppings… pppsshhh like that’s going to happen! Unlike Menchie’s, the frozen yogurt actually had a yogurty consistency and wasn’t icy. I also like the fact that they are a Canadian company and they have recycle waste bins at their locations to cut down on waste.

I’m guessing self-serve froyo is not a big thing in Canada. The lady at the counter didn’t know what Yogurtland is! D: Anyway, fresh flavors that aren’t too rich and sweet. Just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. I got the sweet coconut and greek yogurt. The toppings at qoola are pretty unique and not common at other typical froyo places. They have giant green tea mochis, goji berry granola, flax seed, starfruit, and more. I wish they had carob chips though. Qoola also has a menu item where you can basically build your own yogurt with toppings, and they’ll blend it! And one where you can build your own waffle toppings. They have coffee and matcha green iced tea, which tasted a bit too powdery sweet for me.

Anytime you give me unlimited access to caramel, chocolate sauce, oreo, skor, white chocolate chips, gummy bears, pecans, walnuts, and more, plus the choices of yogurt, this will always score high! Coffee/cappachino is my favourite, and vanilla bean too. the more you put, the more expensive as it’s by weight, so for me, $ 10 buys a lot lol. Like this location better b/c not only is it new, but lots of seating, and more room to move around than Menchie’s on Cambie St.
