Great texture, awesome flavours, interesting preparation process. Nice interior, cost is decent and the portions are just big enough. Glad they had the social shopper voucher to make it worth it even more.

I wasn’t too sure with what to expect from«ice fried» yogurt. I flipped through their menu book and picked 2 delicious sounding ones, but then I realized just ordered the 2 same things, except one had a waffle and condensed milk. Both desserts came with matcha ice cream and red beans. I didn’t mind because I love those flavours(obviously) and I didn’t feel like sharing my waffle. The consistency was soft and smooth, and I didn’t mind it too much. I wouldn’t say it was mind blowing but definitely enjoyable.

Stars remains the same but they’re definitely getting better and better. Maybe one day they will reach five stars. This time I came prepared. I knew exactly what I was going to get! I showed them a picture of the blueberry ice fried yogurt from my instagram and they immediately got on with my order. I did not stood there to watch him fry my yogurt but honestly, he must be doing something different as each time I come here it’s better than the first. The rolls are now actually rolls and the taste and texture is way better. This is what I consider unique.

After walking by this place for months(usually at the start of my run, and therefore too early to get ice cream), I finally made a visit. Joined by a friend, we stood in awe of the menu — there are lots of choices for customization. I knew I wanted the ice fried yogurt(having watched way too many Instagram videos of it being made, it’s pretty cool), and went with the chocolate with oreo and skor bar pieces, while my friend had the rainbow combo(you can make customization requests as well, very handy!). The staff were friendly, and there were lots of spots to sit and relax in the shop, and an atmosphere that encouraged lots of pictures! The décor is a lot of fun. It came to just over $ 12 for two, but for downtown ice cream treats, to be expected. A fun treat, and great spot for a summer night out(close to BC Place and the seawall for post ice cream walks).

Absolutely delicious and worth going out of your way for! Lots of unusual toppings that you won’t find at a typical froyo place. Can’t wait to go back and have some more of the honey fried yogurt.

I picked the peanut butter combo since i love peanut butter. I was surprised how they made each one right in front of you. The original yogurt was used as a base. First it was mixed with peanut butter and then it was spread out thinly. Finally, it was cut up into 4 pieces and rolled up like a crêpe. It was topped off with reeses pieces. You can also add different sauces to top off your ice fried gelato.

Even though the fried ice cream sounds like a cool name, but when you really walk in and really order one, you will realize it is still a typical ice cream, besides the shape is just changed into a cool one. I had a mango one and realized the taste is too artificial so that I would not like to have a second scoop. The mango pieces there are sour. They charge about $ 5.5 per small cup of ice cream which is a bit too much I think. Overall the fried ice cream is a bit misleading. You still get a cold ice cream that taste really not different from one you get from Ben Jerry.

We really wanted to like this place because it’s close to work. However, our recent visit was quite disappointing. The portions are tiny for the price they are charging. They also seemed blah and didn’t care about their customers. With all the frozen yogurt places in the area, they need to try harder to make sure that people return. The salted caramel ice fried yogurt was interesting but the $ 6 price is not justifiable for a tiny cup. We wonder if they gave us half the portion because we had a coupon.

On Yogurt’s location is on the outskirts of Yaletown and a little hard to find, so it was quite quiet even on a Friday night. The concept is very interesting, as they«ice fry» your yogurt right in front of you but I would honestly say that I only tried it for the novelty. The texture of the yogurt rolls is a bit like play dough so when you bite into the icy treat, it almost stretches like the melted cheese on pizzas. Overall, it tasted just okay but we liked how they had condiments(honey/condensed milk/caramel) on the side for you to drizzle on top of your yogurt.

Decided to try out this new organic yogurt place. Not impressed at all. had the rainbow waffle combo which is the original flavor fried ice yogurt with banana, marshmallows and sprinkles with caramel drizzle. The fried ice yogurt part was probably the only good thing about that meal. As the waffle was fairly dense and stale. For the mango ice fried yogurt, they used mangoes that were mushy and looked like it came from a can. Sadly it tasted nothing like real mango, more like an artificial mango candy taste. Needless to say won’t be back.

I Had their matcha ice fried yoghurt with pearl toppings when they first opened. Very entertaining experience and very friendly staff! The yoghurt was refreshing and tasty.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating the opening of this spot for a while now and finally got in to try their«cold fried» yogurt. What a treat! The cold fry really adds to the texture and presentation! Well worth it! I had raspberry and my wife had one of their listed flavor combos«going nuts». Both were awesome! We tried the 50⁄50 gelato yogurt and the 100% yogurt, both were fantastic. A very happy addition to our neighbourhood.

The Ice Fried Yogurt Gelato is tasty and interesting. The texture is impressive and it’s cool to see how it’s made. Not bad in terms of value either. This place is kind of weird though. It almost should be called ‘off yogurt’. The décor is really really random. Like an odd assortment of items in a child’s bedroom. That, mixed with random objects trying to be hip. The music was country when we visited on a weekend night. There’s no overall sense of consistency or coordination in any of the visual aspects of the experience. I never thought froyo could be confusing.

I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on January 4, 2016 and decided to book mark it for future reference. Very close to BC Place, therefore, I hit this up before a show. Decent amount of seating inside, clean and simple looking interior. Most of the items are on the menu. I will admit that it took me a while to decide what it was that I actually wanted since I was extremely overwhelmed by the options. The place has nice simple wooden interior. A medium size place with enough seating, not a lot but enough. It’s a quick snack or a grab and go situation with a walk along the water. It’s pretty much DIY, Pick a base that averages in cost from $ 3 — $ 4. You can get basic and some specialty flavors. Chose each topping for a $ 1 each average. This is a flash frozen place which is really cool. I’ve only seen this once in LA which is very popular, therefore, cool to see it here in Vancouver. I am hoping that this a trend that will pick up. Very friendly staff. Service was extremely slow weather you get it fried or smooth. Expect to wait 15 — 20 minutes. Mango yogurt drink was more on the tart than sweet side.

This is such a great yogurt shop! The yogurt is basically flash frozen right in front of your eyes which is really cool to watch. The assortment of flavours is great, from chocolate to matcha and they will even mix it up for you if you want! There is also a broad variety of tasty toppings to go with the delicious yogurt. Probably the best thing about this place are the owners Mary and Joe, they’re so kind and easy to talk to. The shop is filled with personal touches and cool colouring books for customers to use while they hang out. This is not your average«Menchies», it’s so much better, check it out!
