Very awesome assortment of clothes. The clothes don’t cater to my style, however, the store is organized and inviting. Prices are a little high but you get quality. Customer service was amazing and friendly.

Cute boutique shop in South Granville with styles inspired by Paris and LA. I stopped by this weekend in search of «Clare Vivier» purses(LA designer). Oliver and Lilly’s had them — just not the colour I wanted. I ended up buying a pretty forest green dress instead. Oliver and Lilly’s is a good shop to stop by if you are looking for pretty and stylish clothing that’s not outrageous, without everyone else having the same thing as you(ie. compared to shopping at chain stores like Aritzia).

since this store opened i had enjoyed the collection of clothes that arrive. while it is a small collection, there was always one item i would walk away with, from dressy to casual. from inexpensive to more expensive. the owners have great taste. unfortunately, about one year after the opening, i had an experience that has been repeated every single visit since. the owner is downright rude to me. i thought it must be a case of mistaken identity, as i have never done anything offensive other than buy her items. she does not answer when i say hello or goodbye. she often comments that i had tried on the clothes before… perhaps she is offended that i try on clothes, but i am not a dirty person nor have i ever tried on an item on more than 2 visits. usually i try on an item and return later to purchase it(i don’t make impulse purchases). i averaged one purchase every 2 months since the shop opened. i actually spent energy wondering how i could have provoked her odd behaviour. i finally mentioned the unpleasant issue to a few other friends. They report that they have the same experience; she makes oddly rude comments or does not acknowledge them. one friend mentioned to her wonderful staff. but personally, i no longer shop there. i am not interested in paying to be mistreated. there are so many great shops in vancouver to suit my style without offering offensive attitude(anthropologie, lynnsteven, etc.)

I love Oliver and Lilly’s! I went there a few months back looking for«jeggings» that didn’t look like«jeggings». When I spoke and met with Leighann, the owner, she had recommended me a pair of James Jeans. They were soft denim that felt like a Jegging but still had structure like real denim. I fell in love instantly and brought them home and never looked back. I’m always amazed at the unique brands and selection that they bring into Oliver and Lilly’s. It’s definitely things that you couldn’t find at bigger retailers. They’re really special. What a gem to have in the South Granville area. The staff is great and they care about what you’re looking for. Even if they don’t carry that particular line or brand, they’ll do their best to try and help you find it. Great people and great clothes! A must to check out!

They have some really gorgeous dresses here. Most of their items are a little out of my price range, but the staff are very polite and friendly even when it’s obvious I’m only looking seriously at the sales rack. I’ve also got a number of t-shirts from here — incredibly comfortable, soft, fashionable t-shirts at a reasonable price.

Oohhh! I must have almost everything in the store. It’s a little boutique shop that carries high-end labels like Central Park West, Hunter knit sweaters with giant buttons and a flattering short-wasted crop(gush!) and Divine Rights jeans are all a girls best friend. I went today and saw these elegant Hamsa and Evil Eye bracelets for $ 68. SO pretty. I think the bare tree in the middle of the shop is a really cool accent. What else can you find here? Pretty feminine dresses in blacks, greens and greys and hot pink and jet black silk, jewellery adorned party dresses by Ali Ro. They also have a wait scarf which is a hoodie and a scarf in one. It’s knit and comes in all sorts of pretty colours. I love shopping here.

Oliver and Lilly’s is a relatively new arrival in the South Granville shopping district, and it is quite nice to have an independent clothier in this neighbourhood. The clothing here is quite pricey and high end, but if you are shopping for a special occasion, you might find what you are looking for here. Most of what’s in the store is women’s wear ranging from everyday(work) wear to evening wear, though nothing here seemed too, too dressy. Everything I looked at looked to be well-made and nicely detailed, so this place is certainly worth the slight detour if you are in the neighbourhood.

one of the newest additions to south Granville. I enjoy seeing little independent shop open up and this one looks like it may be a hit. The store design is simple and whimsical. The clothing is obsessed with both details and personality. The mens selection is about three items big but the shop keep assures me that there will be more selection coming very soon. Heres what they had to say about themselves…“We offer a magical and comfortable environment for both men and women to find clothing curiosities that are on trend and casually classic.”
