We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My Fiancé took me here for my birthday to have a custom ring made out of a loose tanzanite stone we already owned. Michael Dean and his wife Carole were very helpful throughout the entire design process and we ended up with the most perfect ring! They are very nice, prompt, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for any of your jewelry needs.

It might be easy to miss this little jeweler’s shop down a lane on Granville Island, you really should make an effort to step inside.
Michael Dean has been creating award-​winning jewelery for a couple of decades now and his designs are simple yet intricate, with beautiful details where you might least expect them. Canadian Polar Bear diamonds are used in much of the designs, due to their top quality cut and colour. Dean’s designs with gemstones tend to have more than one type of gemstone, giving the pieces a unique quality and his use of Tahitian pearls in unique settings is certainly inspiring. The jewelery on show in the gallery is of course, for sale but Dean will also assist you in creating a one of a kind piece for your engagement, wedding or other special occasion, or y’know, just because you deserve it!
