Visited this store for the first time today — was in dire need for a professional pantsuit. Found a great deal in their sales section(3-piece suit for approx. $ 200), customer service was amazing, well worth a browse!

Sad to see this place has shut down! It was the go to place for me as I loved their deals, styles and that some of the clothing is made in canada.

Does it really even deserve 2 whole stars ? This location is promising. Huge store, good location. However it consistently disappoints. Actually — no it pisses me off. First off — the staff. Never have I ever been in there and gotten a «Hello» not a smile, not a nod, nor any other form of acknowledgement . I almost feel like it is after hours or something and I shouldn’t even be in there ! So beyond that — well let’s see — this is supposed to be an «Outlet» store . No I really must beg to differ. I have been to the Outlet store in Calgary by Chinook mall — now THAT is an outlet ! Here, the«sales«and«markdowns» are not so cheap that your heart beats faster, your palms sweat at the anticipation of the hunt, and all the ridiculous low low prices. If anything, this place is just as if not more pricy then a regular Le Château. As a matter of fact — the Burrard St location always had racks and racks of clearance jewlery where you could find earrings Ect for 4.99 and up — here it was more like 9.99 and 19.99 and up. The clothing is way too pricy for what it is, and how do you even know what there is as the racks are so over filled that it is way too tight to even flip through. The styles are dated — seriously ! I found a top that my sister had bought here over 10 years ago. The Exact Same Top:() Now if you do happen to find something of interest good luck getting staff to help you to get in a fitting room. Even they finally are forced to deal with the customers(or me anyway) I find them condescending… Not helpful. Well I could go on but all this negativity is making my fibromyalgia pain flare up. Not good. So yea. Sadly I will strongly suggest avoiding this place. You won’t be missing out on anything but some bitchy attitude and over priced out dated clothing.

I really don’t want this store to close down because of slow business. It’s so close to my work so I can walk there on my lunch. It’s an Outlet store which means you do have to take some time to scour through the racks but I can’t imagine not finding a great deal here! I went after work the other night and found a gorgeous, lined skirt for $ 20. I wore it to work yesterday and looked sharp! There were a few skirts that would be great for work but they didn’t have them in my size. As I was leaving the store I noticed a 50% off rack of dress pants — must go back.

Oh Le Château, how I crave your bold colours in my monotonous workspace, hoping the vivid threads will liven my dreary office. But alas, it cannot be. The cuts of your cloth are all bizarre and obscure and unflattering at best. I wish I could hold one of your soft paper-thin sweaters close to my body layered upon layer to keep out the cold, but the randon sagging spots and off-the-shoulder drab leave me desiring something more suitable for my routine. These low-cut dress shirts make me mourn for a boss who was sexist, who would serve me that smack on the ass I deserve for wearing such trash, rather than the suits who give me nothing more than a talking-to for my promiscious office attire. So how do I survive day in and day out with no suitable attire to inspire my dull life? By stapling my hand to my forehead no doubt.

This must be one of the Le Château leftover locations because everything in this store was bunk. The clothes seem to be all the previous year’s styles and I couldn’t find one pair of earrings that I liked. And leftover crap in a store, I can deal with, but the service was bad. or should I say lack of. I was in the store for about 20 minutes and no one said a word to me. I even tried to get a salesperson’s attention, but she just walked right by me. Everyone was either chatting with each other or looked bored. I’d try a different location next time.
