Klinik was just what I was looking for. They do online booking @ which made it really easy to make a same day appointment. It a comfortable low key location and my appointment was great. It was with Amy and I would highly recommend her. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Update: Amy is no longer at Klinik. Sigh. She has moved to another province. However, I can still recommend Klinik based on the easy-to-use online booking system, space, location(close by transit and free parking) and association with Amy. I’ve downgraded it to 4 stars until I see another person there, when I can re-assess. —— Amy(RMT) is tops. Technical, thoughtful, experienced, bright.

Great booking website allowed me to check several possibilities against my schedule to find the perfect fit. The hours of operation are super accommodating. And the best part of all was my massage. One hour that felt longer(that’s a bonus!) and was slow gentle deep and very very effective. My CMT Amy did an awesome massage and seemed to have some kind of communication with my muscles, hence accomplished so much in one session. I will definitely be returning! Thanks Klinik!

I like the idea of health collectives, it is nice when chiropractors, acupuncturists and RMT’s provide services from one location as many people do require more then one of these services. I found it a little unusual they has no receptionist, I walked into an empty office and waited a good 15 minutes by myself before Amy the RMT was done her current appointment. Appointments are booked back to back to mine was delayed while Amy set up the room for my appointment and checked voice mails, I wasn’t very impressed by this since I was on my lunch break but I understand appointments aren’t always on time. The treatment itself was relaxing and hit all the troublesome areas, she does not treat as deep as some other RMT’s I have been to but I still felt great after. She offered stretches to reduce strain and tension on my neck and shoulders. I had bought an Ethical Deal voucher and I was surprised that she didn’t really try to bring me on as a client. She gave me a business card but that was it, I would be more inclined to go back had she recommended I return for further treatment(which I know I need.)

I like Klinik’s not-frilly comfortable spa-like feel. By the time I hit the massage table I was already on the path to what my body has been begging for! Fantastic RMT. My first impression: Amy Schultz, RMT, is there to help. And second impression: This is a very somatically-intelligent therapist. It turns out she’s had a whiplash like mine and knows exactly what is needed. I walked out with a fantastic treatment, a better idea of the anatomy of the injury and how to fix it on my own. I felt empowered and educated. Thank you, Amy! Her style is intuitive — which disarmed my body’s defenses as it expected a heavy-elbowed, take-no-prisoners approach. Thorough, detail-oriented, and thoroughly trustworthy. I use Massage Therapy for athletic and emotional therapy. Amy did both stunningly well. I walked out of Klinik on a cloud! Thanks, Amy — great job. I’ll be back monthly.

I love the«health collective» concept behind Klinik. A variety of health and medical professionals working under the same roof and using the same facilities so that they are best equipped to help heal people. I like that their services include everything from massage therapy to acupuncture and Chinese medicine. So, over the winter I developed what I like to call«gammy hand», more commonly known as eczema. I was shocked when these little blisters started forming under the skin on my palm and it became dry and flaky. Feeling like somewhat of a freak I shuffled over to my local walk-in clinic. After a brief 10 minute glance-over the GP told me that this type of eczema was a «Vancouver thing» and that«loads of people get it» and wrote me a prescription for a steroid cream. «Rub this on it for 1 — 2 weeks and come back if it doesn’t work». Hmpf. After 3 weeks of using it, it was mildly better, but certainly not gone. I felt a little disillusioned, especially after reading that prolonged use of steroid creams thins your skin! Yuck! Enter Harris Fisher TCMp, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Klinik. I was skeptical, but millions of Chinese people with thousands of years of knowledge can’t be wrong… right? Harris cares very genuinely about his patients and has a focus on treating the cause of a health issue, not just the symptoms. His bedside manner is exceptional and he is genuinely just a nice, down to earth guy. Harris sent me away with some pills to take, some herbs to be mixed with water and some instructions on foods to avoid for a 10 — 15 days period. Within 24HOURS I saw a huge improvement in my hand. I was amazed! 4 days later it is well on the path to a full recovery. I have never thought to use Chinese medicine but now I am a believer! I would highly recommend Harris and his practice.
