Even as I am sick and it is November, it is cold and clear… perfect spot. I mean the water view is amazing. I wouldn’t say totally hidden, but not also off the main road right away either. First off — Pay parking. I know it sucks. I’ve been doing my part to be a good visitor(I’m from SF) to BC Parks by paying for the parking. But the last 5 parks I’ve been to around Vancouver, I’ve returned to see a parking officer issuing tickets and checking license plates and people arguing with them. Okay, back to the park. Good amount of parking, trails for bikes, joggers. you name it, even those fake hoverboards. But the beach is is gorgeous. There are logs set up so groups of people have a place to sit and enjoy the view. Bathroom and shower offered on the beach too!

DH& I came here today on a Saturday afternoon. The trails hardly have anyone on them, so peaceful. If you’re a birder, go down to the pond; we saw Red-Winged Blackbird, Anna’s Hummingbird, Barn Swallows, Mallards, SeaGulls, Robins. Also saw 1 white rabbit, 1 black rabbit &1 light-brown rabbit.
