WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A SALON… FROM THE OWNER OF ALL PEOPLE! I considered buying a Groupon for 2 mani/​pedis for my girlfriend and I, although the owner encouraged me to not go through Groupon, but rather she’d honor the $ 69 cost if paid directly.
We drove there today from Coquitlam (45 min drive) as we worked the appointment around a day off for both of us. Once arriving, the owner attempted to jack up the price to $ 80 + tax (and tip of course) for literally no reason, indicating that I «misunderstood» her over the phone.
Our phone conversation was CRYSTAL CLEAR. I even attempted to buy the Groupon right then and there ($ 69), but she said that she would not honor it and we’d have to rebook after Christmas. WE WERE ALREADY THERE WITH A PRE-​BOOKED APPT!!!
I told her that we drove from a ways out, and could she at least compromise (75 $) but she absolutely refused.
I have been going to salons for years, without any issue, and if you want to get treated like a common piece of trash, this is your establishment, otherwise…
STAY FAR AWAY!!! If I could give ZERO STARS, I would.

I just had THE BEST MASSAGE EVER!!! It was with Shawna — an exceptionally intuitive, present, connected masseuse. I have had many, many massages in my life and, seriously, this was THE BEST! With every other massage, I have felt that the person giving it was operating out of their head, like they have a theory of how to do a massage and they’re following it. With Shawna, I felt that she just totally tuned into what was going on in my body and went for it, from the heart, in her hands. It was amazing! I can’t wait to get back there and get another one!

I went there to get a trim and partial colour. I wanted a natural looking ombré. Alex was my stylist and he was very professional and nice. It ended up looking amazing! I am so glad I went here over another place. Will definitely be back!

it was so painful service, she didn’t have enough experience to do this job. not only she ripping strips away with abandon and going over the same area multiple times. I was literally in tears. she was SO rude to me when I said it so painful .
I’ll never be going back here and I warn everyone else to either make sure not book with Vivian

I had my hair cut with Hishka last Sunday using the Groupon purchase. I hadnt been to a hair salon in 3 years !! I had loooonng hair (9 inches). I told her as soon as going in that I DO NOT want my hair ALL chopped off and that I want my hair just sitting on top of my bust area. I physically showed her with my hands where I wanted it. She did a straight cut, then I said thats it, it was exactly where I wanted it. But she said, Nooo you want layers it will look nice. Throughout the whole thing I kept saying make sure you dont chop it all off. She was layering my hair at the back and I didnt realize until it was too late, she cut my hair off up to my shoulders. I was about to cry. .. she cut my whole 9 inches off and I very clearly explained to her I want my hair touching my breast area. I put my hair all forward and yes it touched my shoulders. She tried to cheer me up saying oh, it will grow out in one month and by giving me a hair style with curls and a hair massage. I tried to explain to her that I have wavy hair and when my hair dries, it will get shorter. She kept pulling my hair downwards (while wet) and saying «see, it is up to your chest area !» (but it barely made it there even while wet!!) I wish I can upload a picture; its up to my shoulders. She cut an extra 4 inches off despite telling her the whole story of what had happened in the past (exact same thing happened 3 years ago). She said to me she has been a hairdresser for the past 25 years. If this is true, she should have assessed my hair prior to chopping it all off and she should have known that when someone has wavy/​curly hair, it will shorten up quite a bit. She was taking before and after pictures using her phone and seemed like she was having fun giving me all the layers for her portfolio to show her future clients as she is starting her own career as a self employed hairdresser. I am so disappointed and will not EVER return to a hair salon.

Tried this with a coupon. The stylist was previously at Mastercuts, which closed down. She charges regular price to new clients but gives a deal to old clients. My cut wasn’t impressive… My new stylist showed me how it was cut in the back, making it look straggly. Paying more than other customers for a less than good cut is not something I want to do.
Oh, and forgot to mention… Woman answering the phone is very unprofessional. She had to call me back every time I called, and didn’t sound confident that she could get me in.

This salon gives a relaxing vibe with stone walls and nice decors. They also have mani/​pedi and massage services as well. The place is pretty big with its own parking lot but limited spots. I came here for a haircut and highlights and I got more for what I would usually pay at other salons. Their staff are very friendly and did a good job with my haircut.

I purchased an hour long relaxation massage through groupon. I was running late and they were very accommodating and waited for me. Vivian was very nice and professional and the experience relaxing. Would go back again.

Worst experience for a massage. Very stressful environment. The choice of «music» was very odd as it was a mix between whale sounds and the «walking down the isle» wedding jam with waves crashing in the background. Underwater Orca Wedding? The massage itself wasn’t very fulfilling as it felt like the lady did the same things over and over but missing key areas like my neck, arms and hands. I shouldn’t leave a relaxation massage feeling stressed. As a side note, I could tell the masseuse wasn’t respected. I honestly thought she was a hired cleaner as she didn’t fit into the rest of the décor and theme. The start was so awkward… «Hey you need to use the washroom «No… «ok go into this nearly pitch black room and with no instructions «I found the light switch and discovered no where to put my folded clothes but the floor.

I bought a Groupon cause I had actually had a somewhat decent haircut here from a lady named Sue (?). But when 8 showed to use my Groupon a young guy at the desk said it was for him specifically. I thought 9kay 8 had super long hair and just wanted a couple of inches off no big deal right… guess again. This guy literally butchered my head!!! I was stunned at how bad he wasn’t to mention rough too. He cut one layer wedge around my head, left the back underneath long and nothing on the sides. I basically had a mullet. I had to go to another salon and get the whole thing recur. I now have a short Bob as that was all that was salvaged from my long hair. 15 months to grow out what a disaster. This guy should not be cutting hair he has no idea what he is doing. Still livid!!!

I was vacationing on Granville Island, and since vacations are the only time where my schedule is empty enough to get my hair done, I googled the closest salon. Thank god it ended up being Infinity.
I walked in Saturday morning and the place was packed. It looked chic and very clean, but I know walking into a salon on a Saturday means a slim chance you’ll get an appointment, and if you do you’re taking the risk of getting a stylist you know nothing about. However, I hadn’t had my hair cut/​colored/​done at all in any way in months, so I was desperate. When I asked the lady at the front desk if there was any way I could get my hair cut and an eyebrow wax, I expected her to look at me like a crazy American who thinks she can just walk into a busy salon and get all of her hair issues dealt with. Instead, she explained that all their services were booked for the day. Maybe it was my sad puppy dog eyes, but she said she’d check with the stylists to see if anyone could fit me in. Amazingly, she was able to make both hair and waxing appointments for me later that afternoon.
When I returned, I was promptly seen by the waxing specialist, whose name I cannot remember, but she was amazing. She spent a great amount of time making sure every hair on my brow was groomed to perfection. I’ve had tons of waxing in my life, and I can confidently say this was the least amount of pain I’ve ever felt. She was so efficient in applying and removing the wax that I didn’t feel any discomfort. She was also like the nicest person ever and talked to me through the entire thing, which is nice because I hate when the technician is awkwardly quiet while ripping at your face.
After my face hair was fixed, I met with Hannah who was going to do my hair. She had stayed late that night to fit me in and I’m sure once she saw my unruly, thick, repunzel-​length hair she knew she was going to be there for a while, but even with all of those factors, she said she would be happy to do a partial ombré for me because, let’s be honest, I needed it. She then proceeded to give me the best cut and color of my life. She was super knowledgeable about current styles and how to deal with my hair. When applying the bleach she said she could tell my hair would take the color fast (something most stylists overlook and my highlights come out white) and was very careful to not let it over dye. She was very pleasant to talk with, and at the end of the two hours she spent with me I was so incredibly happy with how my hair turned out. She was also amazing at styling it with a flatiron to curl it.
I cannot express how satisfied I am with my experience at Infinity. The only problem is I’m going to have to drive 3 hours now to get my hair cuts :)

I’ll never find out if the stylists are any good because the owner (Vivian) is a nightmare. In trying to make an appointment more than a month ahead of when I wanted it), VIVIAN initially was willing to fit me in, but when I told her I was using a Groupon (that I paid $ 65 for), she had a sudden change of heart and told me that no stylists were available on either Monday or Tuesday’s for the entire month of January (the only days I have off). Fine, I said… I will have to go for an alternative. She was not happy to hear this, but tried to give me an option she knew wouldn’t work with the schedule I just gave her… so when she said Saturday January 10^th at1pm, I jumped on it. Then she had a change of heart — AGAIN (!!!) and told me to just go get my money back because she didn’t think I’d be happy with the experience. WHAT??? This is not acceptable, but what was even worse was that when I told her what bad business this was, she hung up on me. As I say, I paid $ 65 for this voucher (that is supposedly worth more than $ 120???) and would be very interested seeing what they have in terms of stylists and whether or not it would be a place I’d go to regularly. Well I have no intention of visiting this «salon» ever, nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. I feel like experiences like this tarnish the image of Groupon as well, which can’t be good for what is most often considered a reputable organization. Way to go Vivian! Stay away, people… seriously, stay away.

Went for a massage groupon. It said it was for 75 min– she was 15 min late and only have me a 60 min massage. not even worth the groupon. The place was very loud, run down and not spa like. Definitely a place to go for hair salon but not a place to relax. will never return.

I just got a pedicure, actually I should call it toes dunked in water with cuticle cutting. Probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten EVER. I can’t actually believe they charge $ 35 and they don’t even scrub your feet! The lady asked me if I wanted my toes painted, umm… YES. Needless to say, please don’t come here and get a pedicure. Or maybe any spa services?

I used to see Farzaneh at Rescue for my waxing needs, so was sad to hear when they closed their doors.
I went to see her for an appointment at Infinity Spa yesterday and was so pleased! The spa is lovely, her room is great — i am so so pleased!
Location is really convenient — i work downtown and take the bus over the bridge and walk down from Granville.

I visited Infinity for the first time after purchasing a $ 39 Living Social haircut package and I was so impressed that I went back to get some highlights.
The place is clean and organized. Nothing outstanding as far as décor. They have parking which is a huge plus!
Jen was excellent, super friendly and I love how she did my hair. She listened to what I wanted and then gave me exactly what I had asked for. She even helped walk me through how to best style my hair. It was a pleasant experience.

***My stylist left this salon a while back, so let me just update you, Readers, about that. I no longer frequent this salon and have no knowledge of its current condition***
A year ago: It all began with a pamphlet and a promise. There was a business card attached, offering cut, style, wash, treatment and blow dry for $ 40.
Deciding to take advantage of the deal has to be the best decision ever made! Now, when I need to be groomed, I know where to go. Sara is my stylist and she does the job so well. When I want a certain color or style — which I always do! — I can show her pictures, describe it in great detail, draw if I have to, and she always listens and does her best to make me happy!
The most common reason for my switching hair salons is the pricing. Sara keeps the pricing fair for the quality of work she does. She always gives me a break down of the total amount — individual charges for cut, color, etc. The salon has its price list, so I know when there’s any funny business.
So far, I’m a very happy client!
P. S. Not to mention, what a beautiful location right outside Granville Island! it always gives me an excuse to lunch on the Island!

I went there last year with a groupon. $ 39 for shampoo, cut, conditioning and vip membership. I have short hair, and I went for a trim and some layering. The last hair cut I had at great clip was horrible, but this time at Infinity, I felt well taken care of. My hairdresser listened to me and offered her opinion. She suggested to leave the back of hair half inch longer than I wanted, which turned out not bad. The whole cut took me over an hour. Every strand of my hair is well tamed, and not a single strand sticking out was found afterwards. Now three months later, I am still happy with my haircut. That is how I tell a good haircut from a mediocre one.
I would have gave 5 five stars if the receptionist did not forget to give me the VIP membership, which costs $ 25 on menu price. I didn’t remind her either, so I guess I can’t blame it all on her.

You can get it all done here! From eyebrows, to waxing, hair-do’s and nails, this is the place. First time around, it’s a bit hard to find, but once you discover it you will find yourself a loyal Infinity client. Tara is the best waxer ever. She’s super friendly and such a pro. Ashley is a rockin’ hair stylist too.
They have discounts and specials occasionally, so it’s definitely worthwhile when those are available. Regardless, their rates are still very reasonable, and they do such a great job.
Best place to get your esthetics regularly taken care of!
