Awesome Bath bombs that don’t cost eight dollars a piece. Friendly service and staff and always feel welcome when I go in. Really enjoy it here and suggest you check it out.

Amazing array of soaps, bath salts, and lotions! I love that they are made locally. Also, the staff are incredibly friendly.

Awesome collection of various hand made soaps. One of the better soap shops I’ve been to.

I was strolling through this store today with my family and browsing the products when a worker in the store decided it was a good time to express her opinion about the team that I happened to be wearing the t-shirt for. First she asked me if I was a fan and when I said yes, well let’s just say her opinion was not favorable to my team and she made that clear. Not only did I feel singled out as I was minding my own business, but felt uncomfortable by the unwanted attention. I decided that I no longer wanted to shop there and got my family and exited, thoroughly insulted and wondering why someone would do that to a passing customer who may have bought something or was thinking about it. I don’t recommend this store unless you like being badgered. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

I saw this booth at this year’s Make-It. You wouldn’t know by looking at me, however, I am a huge advocate for good skin care products, even if I look granola. The more natural and healthy the better for my skin as I have so many skin sensitivities. This booth with a few of the others I have reviewed share the same clean, natural motto as I. I am an East Van girl at heart, therefore, I am all about the hippy dippy make-up kinda stuff. I’ve seen these guys at multiple craft fairs at various years, therefore, I’ve either bought a product from them before at a different fair or during the most recent Make-it fair. I will be honest in saying that the reason I buy soaps from them is less about the actual smell and more to do with the life-like resemblance to my favorite desserts. I am such a foodie that I looked at these soaps as pieces of art rather than a practical use for cleansing. I was almost tempted to eat my slice of cheese cake soap.

I like Granville Island in the rain. Yesterday I decided to visit the garden/kitchen store but turns out it’s been closed for several years. Instead, I found this little soap store where the bulk of the soaps are made in-house by the owner. The saleslady was so helpful and patient in answering all my questions regarding the difference in price and quality, the benefits, etc. I ended up buying a set of 3 soaps from an Alberta company(3 for $ 9.99) because they smelled milder, one(white musk) from the in-house brand, a stone soap saver and a couple of discounted baby stuff. I think the next time, I will try a string of their samples. It’s good to support local businesses and non-commercial soaps will not dry out your skin.

Great place to stop before the cruise for lotions, salts, oils and anything else that says«I’ve traded in my manhood for a happy marriage».

while I’m not the«main» shopper here, my wife is, I do go with her because the soaps are both a visual and olfactory delight. While most soap shops will assault your nose from yards away this delightful shop is subtle. The aromas are locked in till you release them while bathing, lemon, eucalyptus, chocolate mint, vanilla, and on and on. Absolutely love cuddling up to my wife after her bath and inhaling the delightful aromas . Some of the soap bars are«works of art» shaped like pieces of cheesecake, really hard to distinguish from the real thing. Others are created with scenes like a flying stork and a bathtub(just to name a couple). Great for gift giving. Bathing salts, bath bombs, lotions and bars of soaps this store is my. errr our favourite and should not be missed whilst enjoying all that Granville Island shopping has to offer. P. s. the shops a little hard to find but if you go past the public market and a left beside the totem carving area. follow the walkway past the artists shops OR if your at the back of the public market go under the bridge where the ice cream store is.
