The Best Phở I’ve ever had. I brought my friend here and she lived in Taiwan for many years and agrees it is one of the best she has had. She had the house special and I always ask for the vegetarian with fried Tofu. It’s a special request. It’s one of my favourite winter spots on a cold day. Fresh feel good food. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the bathroom is always in great shape! That means a lot to me along with the friendly service!

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. I had their bun bo hue and it was delicious. A little on the spicy side, but still really good. I definitely would come back and try their other dishes.

Second time to this place because I think everyone deserves a second chance. First time I had the chicken fried rice. Hard crunchy salty mess. I let it go because they had just recently opened and I wrote it off as growing pains So second time was today and another disappointment. First up. Phở. The menu says it comes with beef, tendon, tripe and meatballs. No tendon. No tripe. 3 small meatballs and barely any meat. 90% broth and rice noodles. Not impressed. My lunch partner had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Burger was standard fare but it seriously came with a small child’s handful of fries. Over cooked fries. Served on a large white plate which looked empty. Anyways. I guess two kicks at the can was enough for me. Oh and our server. He was actually awesome. He got a tip because he was a good guy.

Ate here on the last visit. Let’s just say the Vietnamese version of Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice was disappointing if not disturbing. Maybe I just didn’t get it. But I have had better in Food Courts in Kelowna. Alls I knows is if your SSP are three shriveled meatballs … it is not a good idea to laugh when the customer stabs it and it leaps for freedom to the floor. Wonder if they ever moved the storage rack blocking the back door by the washrooms?

This is actually a pretty good place. They serve a great breakfast for under $ 8 and the staff are friendly. Don’t except the lunch or dinner fare to be brilliant, but everything they make is good. I like it, because the pricing is cheap and the food(and portions) are quite reasonable.

Second time here. I’m half way through my wonton egg noodle vegetable soup, and it’s so comforting on this cold fall night that I feel the need to write this place a review. They totally deserve some Unilocal love. Don’t let the word fusion scare you because the food here is authentic Asian and really good. It tastes like Mom made it. And the price is right. I’ll be back! PS: Wonton is da bomb.

If you’re looking for fusion food, you probably should head somewhere else. This restaurant is not really a fusion place. It’s a Vietnamese restaurant that also serves Western food. Anyway, the food is ok. I had the daily special: small beef noodle soup with one spring roll. The phở wasn’t phở-tastic, but it wasn’t too bad either. The soup lacked depth. The spring roll was decent.

We have been here twice for very early dinner at 5pm. After reading scathing reviews by others I am inspired to say that in my experience the Vietnamese food here is very good. I have a favorite Vietnamese place in the West End(Baoguette) but when they are full(often) I like the quiet atmosphere here. I don’t really understand why it’s not busy because the Vermicelli with chicken or pork, salad, and spring roll is fresh and very tasty. The server I had was very nice and fast. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, casual diner style Vietnamese meal.

This restaurant can never handle when they are busy. We are or were every Saturday regulars. But the service is bad and keeps getting worst. Twice they forgot our order. The staff did not care. The woman in the kitchen just yell at me they are busy. I ask to speak to the Manager Lin. They said she was not here and would not tell me when she will come in. Actually y they did not care about my concerns. Shocking that they would rather give good service to one time customers and not regulars. We will NEVER be Back and I told them so and they did not care. I will also tell everyone not to go there.

Hey, not bad. Certainly isn’t the best restaurant in the west end, but does have a decent array of Vietnamese and breakfast food. Service is a bit slow at times, but it hasn’t been super busy when I’ve eaten here. May be worse when busy. Overall, I think the food tasted quite good and prices were fair. There really are some dramatic reviews out there. This place was not super bad and wasn’t super good, and still I feel 4 stars is appropriate. Perhaps I’m a bit generous.

I haven’t written a review in a while but I felt this place needed a review. This is a nice restaurant that offers free wifi. They have a variety of food and looks to be owned by a small family. The Good: Great food selection and variety, not just Vietnamese. The good was great! No complaints here on the taste. I got the eggs Benedict, chefs special and was delicious and healthy servings. My son got the lemon grass rice plate. The chicken was delicious, and my wife got the phở. The phở was on point. The not so good: For those of you in the microwave era, the wait may take a while. They are a family of 4 and perhaps they can control or limit the amount of people that come by limiting seating space, but come on people, come relax, enjoy some Vietnamese coffee and chill, the food is worth the wait. Bottom line: Worthy of 5 stars. Please come show support! Off to California we go, fat and happy.

I used to like the Grove Inn for some reason, even though it was pretty poor. I gave this place a chance it it may have been the worst ever. It took 55 minutes to receive the 3 piece Chinese food. The meal was worse than what you would receive in a mall. Service was slow and the food was not good at all.

Still stand by my original review, despite Gigi’s claim that ‘I” work for them. If that’s the case, then I’m quite the busy worker, with over 4,000 restaurant reviews that I’m waiting tables at lol. Did a takeout iced coffee last week, passed the test. They’re offering 10% pickup if that helps anyone.
