I am an eye care professional and I must say that Ali M. review of his experience is quite unjustified. I think your expectations and the reality of professional service are completely in-congruent with the changing retail environment vis– a– vis internet sales. I completely agree that you purchased a product ONLY from an unlicensed foreign company that has no standards of health care to follow to protect the consumer. I wonder if you still think that you can find a good deal online? Like a Dentist or pharmacist we are provided professional samples to use on new clients but are prohibited from selling them… so to assume you will get them for free is an unrealistic expectation. I have known Dr. Foster for years and he has the highest level of professionalism and accuracy as an Optometrist and sound business ethics. I personally know almost every OD in BC and would gladly recommend his service and his very fair pricing model. You are lucky to receive a student discount … most Dr. ‘s do not offer this. I have absolutely no relationship to prop up here, i am sad that only bad reviews get posted, this Ali M having a very negative feelings but without substance and unrealistically expecting help and support when he chose to purchase from an unregulated on-line dealer.

I was his patient for the last six months and I sometimes wear daily contacts. I didn’t select to order contacts from his office because I realized I can find good deals online. I placed an order a week ago online and haven’t received my new contacts yet. I’m going hiking this weekend and desperately need the lenses. so I thought maybe I can call his office and get a test sample from them(which definitely the get for free), the assistant told me: «you should have ordered lenses from us if you needed our help, you should ask for help online!». I said thanks to him, and I definitely would never see Dr. Foster or any of his assistants in my life. I’m not sure about the prices, but I got a feeling that service is a bit overpriced too. I paid 70 $ for an eye exam(original around 90 $, I got 25% student discount) and another 90 $ for toric lense fitting.
