So we all do it… we see the little independent neighborhood corner store across the street from the chain store or gas station and we all go to the chain store out of fear of the unknown little guy… will they have brands I know… is it clean… are the prices through the roof… this is what goes through our heads… well mine in any case. So.today when I headed to the corner Chevron for a ginger ale. I looked at the cute little Fairmont Grocery on the corner across the street and thought. what the heck? Let’s give the local little guy a shot. and what do you know. I lived to tell the tale. it has all the essential items you want in a corner store.milk.pop.snacks.tuna.eggs.butter.you get the picture. AND I was surprised to find out that they sell fresh flowers. a pretty good selection actually. nothing amazing. just your lily’s and roses etc. but they are fresh and pretty and not expensive at all! I will not longer be too lazy to cross the street… Chevron has just lost a customer to Fairmont…
