If I could give this store 6 stars I would. I’m new to Vancouver and am redecorating my new apt… Getting everything to match has been super stressful! The staff here have been so helpful, gone above and beyond with customer service, and beyond accommodating. A definite gem!

I happened on the store by accident, and since I love the clothing store Exposure, I wanted to check out their foray into homewares. It’s very neat! I’d describe the aesthetic as shabby chic, homespun /homegrown, modern-vintage, a tad hipster. It had a similar feel to Old Faithful Shop(in Gastown) and Much & Little(on Main Street) with a little bit of Vancouver Special(on Main Street) thrown in. Definitely a good fit for The Drive. It looked like they were still setting up shop when I was there(beginning of April) –or had just received a large/new shipment. None of the staff acknowledged me when I walked in, but they didn’t tell me they weren’t ready for customers. I said hello and they said hello and then went back to dealing with the stuff that arrived. I hope once they get fully settled in they’ll have more attentive customer service(as there are a few homewares that I’m looking for, but didn’t have the time to hunt for the options).

I stumbled upon this shop while on a random wander down Commercial Drive. The store itself is bright and the exposed brick walls are lovely. The little vignettes that were set up throughout the store are thoughtful and the furniture is well-priced. There are many little décor pieces scattered around, from bird cages to door knockers and hooks to shower curtains to glass containers for air plants to cushions and some dishes. It’s a great place to find those little finishing touches for your home. There were many unique and versatile pieces of furniture as well(couches, chairs, dining sets). It was an eclectic mix but at least for me, it aligns with the way I like to decorate. I saw several somewhat industrial-looking pieces that I would love to have in my home. It’s definitely worth a browse if you find yourself on the Drive!
