Cant’ vouch for their food yet, but have to say their coffee is one good roast & great to work, as it’s usually not busy there. Owner nice enough to let me sit at the front window seating when i’m conversing some big business or working on my laptop. Décor-wise it’s alright & not gonna knock you off your feet but it’s clean. Quite a spacious place for what i was going to say a café, but it’s got a lot more: panini, pasta, pizza, salad, soup… one day hopefully next wed when i play hockey, i’ll need an excuse to eat some carbs to report soon ;) Plenty of free street parking. And how not to like this place when their biz card is basically the Italian flag lol.

N.C. is right. This place is truly a hidden gem, tucked among a sea of shops that look like they’re closed. Parking is available on the side streets. The inside looks a bit like a nursing home. Maybe it’s the pink walls and wooden chairs, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this. The place is family run. I think it’s a dad, mom, and son. They knew my buddy by name. A fresh homemade 10″ pizzas can be had here for only $ 7.50. How they stay in business, I cannot understand. And this ain’t no pepperoni either. This one had prosciutto, artichokes, and olives. Definitely the best deal on a pizza I’ve had in a very long time. The one caveat about this place is that it closes early, at 1900 on weeknights. So be sure to make a beeline here after work if you work banker hours. You can order to go as well though.

I was really in the mood for a yummy sandwich and thought a nice Italian Café would hit the spot. Inside the décor is clean and nice and there were a few customers sitting at tables on a Friday afternoon. I asked to have the Roasted Red Pepper Panini, to which he asked if I wanted it on Foccacia or a Baguette. I asked him what he thought would be better to which is blankly replied, «Uhhhh… I dunno». I knew right there that I may have entered the wrong shop. I ordered the baguette and he promptly made me my sandwich. On my first bite I got an overwhelming taste of oranges. I couldn’t understand why all I could taste was cold oranges, when I realized that my roasted red peppers were pickled in some sort of citrus concoction. My bread was a cheap subway wonderbread sub that wasn’t grilled or even toasted(even though I ordered a panini). The overwhelming cold orange flavoured jarred peppers and lack luster bread made me put my panini in the garbage. Supposedly the pizza is good, but not sure if I’ll be back.

It’s so sweet to have Capris so close to home. Air conditioning, Wireless, Coffee, Pizza(not for me but there is some gluten free pizza discussion happening), Panini and Pastas. I was starving and they were sweet hearts to make me a salad with chicken on it. Not too pricey either! The desserts look scrumptious. Home made Canolis and other Italian Favourites. Nothing too fancy, just good home cooking and baking. Family owned and operated and with comfortable seating. Great stop for lunch.

Wow! What i thought would be a standard, run of the mill place to get a coffee and a snack turned out to totally exceed my expectations! The first time I came here I just got a drink, and i remember being impressed by the friendly staff and cleanliness of the place, but not thinking much of it otherwise. I was in the area again again today and still hadn’t had breakfast, so I went in and grabbed a cappuccino and a slice of pizza… Um, YUM! I’ve gotta say, i was a bit skeptical about the pizza since i’m used to grabbing my by-the-slice pizzas from places like Uncle Fathi’s where they have way more customers, which usually means their oven is working overtime and whatever you eat hasn’t been sitting around for too long. One bite of the pizza here and i saw the error of judging before sampling! The crust was incredibly light and crispy, the sauce was awesome, and the ingredients all tasted very fresh! My cappuccino was delish too, but if you’re in the mood for something else, this place is also licensed and can serve you some adult beverages! I’d love to come back here sometime with a group and order a fresh pizza and wine. It’s gotta have something to do with the light, crispy crust, but their pizza definitely isn’t the heavy kind you drink with a pint of crappy beer!

The best pizza and pasta around. Café Capri is truly Italian, the food is fresh, fast and delicious. Everyone is my office loves this place for lunch. The ice cream comes from the best gelato in town Dolce Amore.

This place Is absolutely a hidden gem! The food is fresh and the owners tell me they only use ingredients from Bosa foods. The prices are really reasonable and on Wednesday and Saturday you can get 210″ pizza’s for $ 12.99. My favorite here is the capriciosa-ham, salami, artichoke hearts and olives. They also have this interesting blueberry drink that I have only found here. It’s bottled but I’ve never seen it anywhere else. Also, the Ice Cream here is exceptionally good! Especially the hazelnut! They have daily and weekly specials so if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth checking out! I’m not in the area that often, but when I am, I go out of the way to come here for the food.
