Pretty average. Sunday morning, not too busy but didn’t get a coffee refil, plate was pretty bare except for my crêpe. Tasted fine, didn’t blow me away for the price. Just average.

The food here is pretty expensive and not very filling. I ordered a strawberry and banana crêpe with nutella, and I got like four strawberries and half of a banana in my crêpe. It was not very filling, and after eating it I felt like I could have eaten another one and only then not been hungry. My dad got a savory salee with tomato sauce and cheese, which was like a rolled up pizza, which pretty good but small.

I am always surprised by the poor reviews for this place. I’m incredibly picky about crepes and think theirs are very good. we order from the takeout window and sit outside. we usually get the egg, tomato and cheese crêpe with their excellent lavazza espresso. service is always quick and pleasant. we literally come here every morning when in Vancouver. I can only surmise that the subset of people leaving bad reviews is nothing like me. I want hot crispy crepes with fresh ingredients and great coffee on the side. this place fits the bill. I’m chuckling at the reviewers who say this place is overpriced. folks. once again. if you want Quality food you’ll have to pay for it. if you want cheap crappy food then find a 7 – 11.

If I’m feeling like having crepes, I go to Café Crêpe. Delicious crepes for a decent amount of money. They have so many different crepes to chose from or you can make your own. There is indoor seating but I feel like it’s too dark with the dark maroon coloured walls. Ambiance could use a little work in my opinion but great service and food. I recommend giving it a try.

Solid crepes but the prices are pretty steep at $ 5 for a simple butter and sugar to $ 12 for a specialty. My nutella and coconut crêpe was $ 7 pre-tax. The crêpe itself is simple and solid with a thin schmear of nutella and a coating of shredded coconut. They were more than happy to give me extra coconut, which was a plus. They are also open until 11 pm which is great if you are looking for a late-night snack.

I love crepes especially with Nutella. We had several breakfasts here. They open early which is convenient. Boeuf Fume: Savory crêpe with Swiss cheese, smoked beef, Dijon mustard and mushrooms. The melted cheese oozes out when you cut the crêpe with your fork. 4⁄5 Strawberry, Banana and Nutella Crêpe: Sweet crêpe. My favorite combo! The crêpe is the perfect thinness. No holes, no bubbles. 5⁄5 Nutella Hot Chocolate: Hot chocolate is always a good idea. Add Nutella to it and it becomes a brilliant idea. Nutella makes this hot chocolate slightly thicker. 5⁄5 Nutella Latte: A mildly sweet latte with… surprise surprise! Nutella! 5⁄5 The service was great. They tend to get busy starting an hour after they open.

We were here in July. The savory and sweet crepes were both excellent with many delicious choices. We were in town for three days and ate here twice.

Overpriced, mediocre crepes. Nothing special. Could make the same thing at home. Not worth the price at all. Only good thing is that their crepes are nice and chewy especially when with Nutella.

Ordered a savoury crêpe with prosciutto and Brie and after waiting 25 minutes it was cold through out. Not great won’t be back. Another person at my table had the same a cold crêpe with chicken and unmelted Swiss. Doesn’t look like any of us will be back. Atmosphere is blah. Kinda old and kinda dirty. Food and garbage all over floor.

Ok. So so service. Been here at the takeout window. It can get busy, so please bring your patience. I think I ordered a grand mariner crêpe here once and a maple syrup one. A bit pricy(considering I knew a French guy way back named Luc who whipped up crepes from scratch on campus after history class and they tasted so good but he flew back to a town outside of Paris, France) … Anyway I digress. Try these crepes– this local is fun to sniff as you walk by doing your shopping in the city.

The boyfriend wanted brunch while we were in Vancouver, and nothing screams brunch like CREPES!!! So many crepes and combinations to choose from! They also had standard brunch fare like eggs Benedict and omelettes, but who goes to a crêpe place and doesn’t order crepes? We both got the breakfast special, bacon(or sausage), 3 eggs and one of four crêpe choices. You can upgrade to another crêpe for a fee, like I did. I got a strawberry cheesecake crêpe while the boyfriend got a strawberry jam crêpe. The bacon was crispy and hearty, the eggs were a bit runny, and the crêpe was large and filling! Just enough cream cheese and strawberry to not overwhelm the crêpe. I ordered a «standard» Nutella latte, but my goodness I could have had a bucket of it. Insanely good. Dangerously good!

I love a good crêpe, and every time in in town, I have to get one from here. They’ve got a huge selection of sweet and savory. My preference is to just stop by their street-side service, pick up a crêpe, and continue strolling along on Robson. It’s a great breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack /dessert option.

This place is the definition of A-OK. I went with my Vancouverian friend and his girlfriend. To be honest we spent about an hour and a few miles walking around downtown to avoid this place. But with hunger in our bellies and weary in our hearts we step within the gates of Café Crêpe. We order three crepes to split. The first a spinach feta, the second cinnamon and sugar, the third prosciutto and egg(we should have got the brie). The spinach and feta was surprisingly the best, the savory of the feta and spinach and the sweet of the crêpe itself was a nice contrast. The worst by far was the prosciutto and egg(it was also the most expensive), the egg was the most artificial, lack passion, attempt at eggs I have seen since my high school cafeteria. But once again, it was so meh I just ate it out of pure hunger. It didn’t taste bad it was just boring. Go with the brie and egg, it’ll liven it up. The sugar and cinnamon was, well, sugar and cinnamon, if you get that wrong you go out of business. Our waiter was the man! He was super nice, super interested in talking to his guests and super attentive to our needs. Everything you could ask for in a waiter. Bravo! Finally, the Mimosa was superb! This was the most surprising aspect of the morning. It was made with the best fresh squeezed OJ, which is what makes mimosas. Also, it was CA $ 6 which was like US $ 4.50(roughly, don’t laugh at me).

Over priced, mediocre crepes. My preference for crêpe is crispy and thin, but their servings is doughie… not my fav crêpe place. The sweet ones are a-OK, it’d be what I expect in a crêpe, I mean, how can you get jam/strawberry/chocolate sauce/Nutella wrong? just the crêpe skin is not crispy to my liking… pricey for a crêpe too… .the Southwestern is well flavoured, the only thing I thoroughly enjoyed at this meal. The eggs and sausages are just your basic eggs and sausages on the side. …

It’s been five years since I’ve been to Vancouver and, I remembered not to miss this place — after all this time it still lived up to that favored memory and then some! Food is excellent and consistent. The service is excellent as well — I asked what the chipotle sauce brand was(don’t miss out on it — it’s epic!) a few minutes later the manger, Amin came to our table introduced himself and had the ingredients written down. He told us that it is made at their central kitchen and walked us through the recipe. This was above and beyond. I highly recommend this place for break, lunch, dinner, dessert and late night!

Service SUCKS! It’s incredible! If there was an option for the worst service and we were able to give them a 5 star rating on it I would run with it! They deserve a 5⁄5HANDSDOWN! the food is good, I mean how wrong could you really go with Nutella and strawberries? It’s pretty hard to mess that one up. On the other hand, the location on Granville is fast for a quick. It’s to go, and to be honest the service is better. I feel that for what you pay for here you would expect better service. Not only are the staff not friendly, they are slow, they have attitude, they don’t bring you cutlery, role their eyes of you ask for napkins… And the best part take 7 – 13 minuets until they come ask you for the order… And by order I mean water. It was a very frustrating experience. Vancouver would benefit from a better crêpe Café place for sure!

It was ok, nothing spectacular. We had the ham and cheese which was very basic, good but overpriced at $ 10.50. And the prosciutto, Brie, egg, tomato, basil purée was pretty tasty, the winner of the night, although the basil was a bit over powering where u could barely taste the prosciutto.($ 12.50) And making it a combo just means adding a side, so not really a deal($ 3 for a side of fries), a drink is additional. The service was quick and friendly, but for the price I don’t think I’ll be going back unless I’m with someone who insists on going there.

Its a chain, but a decent crêpe chain. Thin, moist yet crispy on the outside — load it with Nutella, chase it with a cappuccino or espresso and sit on the bench watching Vancouver go by. Great late afternoon.

Very good spinach and feta cheese crêpe. Great location and great staff. I also had banana and Nutella crêpe, which is also good, but I think they do not use the real Nutella since the taste wasn’t as good as the original brand. Next time I will try other options of sweet crêpe. And I just read on Unilocal that someone was complaining about the staff not using gloves to prepare the food and I confirm that. :(

In the downtown Vancouver area, walk along Granville or Robson street, and you run into Café Crêpe’s four Vancouver locations. OK, it’s a chain of cafes that attempt to import the«tradition of the classic European café«. But this is OK for now ex-Vancouverite San Josean like me. Café Crêpe also serves a French version of a hot dog, the Hot Dog Parisien, this is a long weiner sausage served in a 30 cm baguette. Have a crêpe… All I can say is yum, or the French idiom for yum!
