The worst experience imaginable. The installer used my furniture as a work bench. Large gaps where molding joined the corners. There was no protective sheeting on anything. There was no clean up(thick layers of dust everywhere). One of the laundry room’s louvered doors was not re-hung. A large box of garbage left behind BUT the unused floor boards(very expensive Canadian hardwood) were«absorbed». Attempts to contact Harvey(the owner), the VP(Keith) and customer service went ignored. I wish I could post photos as I documented the whole entire mess.

Customer service is always a perfect balance that must be hard for sales people to find. Too much attention and«1 Star! Overbearing!» Not enough attention«1 Star! Didn’t ask how my mother is!» We shopped for an area rug and have only great things to report. Our sales rep(Adam) clearly knows the stock and spent time explaining the in’s and out’s of the available options. He understood our price range and didn’t waste our time trying to up sell us. Nor did he smirk when I kept asking about items(which ended being 5 times our budget). Then he left us alone to browse and discuss. When we were ready to buy — carpet wrapped and tied and in our car in a flash. So congrats Burritt Brothers for a abundance of choice, decent prices and a sales person who has mastered the intricacies of the customer please ceremony.

There is only one review — after walking in and out in 10 minutes — I’d have to say I had a very similar experience… People working there seem very busy even though there wasn’t a soul in the store. One guy said hi, found someone else to talk to us for a moment. She showed us a section to browse. We did for a while and we were left alone. … … … We finished looking and left. g

Last year we were starting renos on a 2 level house. We needed flooring, tiles, carpets, hardwood the works as we gutted the house. We came to burrit aka BC hardwood flooring b/c of advertisement on t.v. An older lady in her 40s or more talked to us not very enthusiastically but we didnt know much & wanted better quality than big box store. Well shortly after it seemed like someone she knew came in. She then turned on the charm & the enthusiasm meter lit up. She the directed us to another sample room & she began to socialize or sell that person something smaller than a whole house flooring makeover. Hmmm this always happens to us. We found the exit ourselves & quietly left so as not to disturb the sales lady & her more important customer.
