I had my first ever threading experience at Bombay in November 2015 and loved it! I had the lovely and fast Barb. She is very experienced and I felt very confident in her. She was very nice. I had my entire face done and there was a flurry of blonde hair flying off my face. With menopause my facial hair has increased. My skin felt so nice and smooth after. I had my brows done also. She outlined them for me with a white wax pencil after measuring where they should begin, end & arch. I am very blonde so she used brow powder to darken my brows up and they looked awesome. I bought the clear brow wax to keep my brows in place and lock in the brow makeup. Easy to get a quick appt. and I thought the prices were quite fair. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Every time I go I’m always greeted with a smile. The ladies are very professional and efficient. They will make sure you leave there happy.

Ive been coming here a few times now, and I’ve always been happy with the result. Every time I come in they’re able to accommodate me on the same day (I’m bad at planning so I always do walk-​ins). Generally speaking I always get offered water or chai when I come in here, and I love the décor. Both technicians and the front desk staff have always been really friendly. Now, this was going to be a 5-​star review based on the experiences I’ve had here anyway, but my last threading just raised the bar! Coming out of the salon I was really happy with the result (as always), but I ain’t gonna lie, I gave the brow makeup a lot of credit since I have almost invisible eyebrows that grows in all directions and I just come in to get them cleaned up. I don’t know what kind of magic the girl did on my brows, because they’ve looked amazing for almost a week now — so it’s not just the brow power. Is it frivolous to fly up to Vancouver from California in the future just to get my brows done here in the future? I’m not convinced it is. Anastasia needs to watch out, because Bombay is some SERIOUS competition.

I grew my eyebrows for weeks for this day to come. I called first to confirm if they take walk ins, and luckily they were! I was greeted at the door and was asked if I wanted chai tea or water. The lady who assisted me drew an out line on where she should take of the hairs. She was attentive about what I want. After my threading experience at this place my eyebrows were on fleeeeeeeeeeeeek. Love the head massage as well would come back although I find that threading for $ 25 dollars is quite pricey.

Bombay brow bar was A-​okay. A little pricey with tip, but worth it if you need good brows in a pinch. I walked in without an appointment on a busy Saturday. The lady doing my brows was kind, and tried to make conversation, although English was not her first language. My brows are even and pretty well done– an annoying hair here or there still shows up but I don’t expect perfection. The massage and make up application at the end was a nice touch. It’s a small little shop there, so expect to be a little close to your neighbours :)

I take my eyebrows VERY SERIOUSLY. I have crazy cavewoman brows that are very hard to tame. They grow like thick caterpillars and they’d rather be one giant eyebrow than two. Sometimes I’ll try to shape them myself and get one right but can’t get the other one to quite match. Soon I’m yelling for my husband to take my tweezers away because things are getting out of control! The only place I trust with my eyebrows is Bombay Brow Bar because they also take eyebrows very seriously. You should too! They’re on your face!
I recommend growing your brows out as much as you can before making an appointment. Bring in photos of brows you love (also remember to be realistic! We can’t all have Jolie’s arch and Delevigne’s thickness) and go over exactly what you want with your eyebrow stylist.
Today I went in for some much needed grooming and tinting and was hoping to leave with a more defined arch. The wonderful Monica and I went over the shape and she made brow magic happen! My brows have never looked better. EVER. She gave me my dream brows and who can put a price tag on that?! $ 46 plus tip is money well spent. They also give you a soothing face/​head massage and delicious Chai tea. These are simply bonuses to the beautiful brows you’ll leave with!

The entire experience was amazing, from the front desk girl to jaspreet who was my brow artist. She was so polite and checked with me every single step of the way. Made sure i was happy with everything. My brows and my entire face look like it got an uplift.

This place is so cute with the chai tea and the bollywood movies on tv. I finally tried treading and I am so pleased with the results. It is a little more painful than waxing and time consuming but the results are far superior. The staff here are very skilled and my brows have never looked better.

I have enjoyed the Bombshell Brows at Bombay for quite some time now. I have always appreciated their professionalism and dedication to great brows. The consultation to start is great and I appreciate them checking with you at multiple steps regarding your satisfaction with the plan and how you like the result. The massage at the end is the best part with a choice of aloe or rose gel/​moisturizer. You can also opt for brow makeup as well, and they will show you how to apply it if you’re a brow makeup virgin. I really love the décor and music, which seems kind of tacky at first grows on you as it’s a really fun south asian take on a girly spa atmosphere.

I have been waxing my eyebrows for ever, and I had one last run in with a horrible wax job that left my eyebrows incredibly thin and sparse. I took the next few months growing out my eyebrows and only tweezing and lost my beautiful arch. I decided to try Bombay Eyebrow Bar for the first time and I can say that I have never felt so confident and happy with the results! I booked online effortlessly and walked in the next morning as they were waiting for me. They immediately took my appointment, and drew out a consultation of what shape I wanted/​what would look best. I love threading, and I absolutely love the massage they give!!! What is great as well is that they apply brow makeup over showing you how to do it. I definitely will never wax my eyebrows again or see another brow salon again! This is literally the best, and you get what you pay for… Excellence!

The ladies at Bombay know their brows. They do measurements, consultations, and then tell you what areas you should let grow out in between appointments and what areas you are safe to tweeze. After the threading, a soothing face massage is given. With a tip, the total comes up at $ 30. Yes, this is relatively expensive, but strong eyebrows can completely change your face. So worth it.
Warning: threading hurts. Much more than waxing. However, the precise and clean brows that threading produces is absolutely worth the pain. But your eyebrow area will be red for at least a few hours after, so plan accordingly!

I can’t believe how skillful these ladies are with brows. And what a difference a few snips and stray hairs can make! My brows look polished but natural and I only need to go in once a month. Worth every penny!
The chai and Bollywood and bright fuchsia décor don’t hurt either!

This place is amazing! It’s really pricey but it’s worth every penny because the staff is so friendly! The stylist listened to everything I wanted!

I seem to always find myself reviewing places that I love.
I was never in love with my brows, ever… have always had them waxed them or plucked at them myself. Also, I have really long curly hairs which are a bit crazy.
Anyway, decided I needed them tidied up & being in a new town wanted to find somewhere good! Thank you Unilocal for pointing me in the right direction! I would rather pay a higher price point & get a consult of what shape I wanted, threading (amazing!), a forehead massage & shown how to fill my brows in. It was a great experience. She also advised me what to tell the next person who does my brows.
I will be back!

Just an update at how amazing their customer service is…
I have since moved to the US, far far away from my beloved brow bar :(my brow makeup that is THE PERFECT shade is running low and I grew very concerned I wouldn’t get the same thing around here. Sent them an email and quickly heard back from them, and the are shipping me some lovely products!
Out of the country?! Doesn’t matter! They’ll still love on you!

After a dismal first try, I decided to get my eyebrows done here again to see if maybe I was just unlucky the first time. It turns out I was! The service was amazing and 10x better than when I had first came years ago.
My eyebrow stylist listened to my every worry and instruction, and outlined every step that she was taking. She listened, then penciled in the shape that she would be creating. She then carefully threaded my eyebrows and stopped to show me a mirror a few times to be sure everything was ok. I was very pleased with the end result, especially since I had grown out my eyebrows for 4 months for this moment.
Make sure you are vocal about what you like/don’t like, bring pictures even, you will end up with a better result as people cannot read your mind. I think the fact that I knew exactly what eyebrow shape I wanted and what would compliment my face shape helped tons too.
Lastly, if you are unhappy about your service, just let them know! They have amazing customer service and want to make you happy, something those salons in little India are certainly lacking! :)

I got my brows done at the Shangri-​La location a few months back however this time I was in Yaletown area. I decided to give them a call asking them if there was room for me in the next 20 mins, the receptionist said yes and to come on in. I walked into the bar and it was pretty busy, all the ladies were busy threading away. I got offered chai tea and sat down. A couple of minutes later I was seated at one of the stations. The procedure was great, she told me about every move she was going to make and with her expertise she explained how and why :). The massage at the end if great and I truely recommend this place. Although after taxes and tip it ends up being around $ 30, they spend so much time and really cater to YOU and your face. :)

The décor is gorgeous, the girl at the front desk was lovely, and the complimentary chai tea was delicious. Had the woman who did my brows not been so unfriendly and condescending I would have come back.
I’ve never had my eyebrows threaded before, which I told her, and so I was having trouble holding my brows for her properly (in order for her to thread them) which seemed to annoy her to no end. She tried to sell me product afterwards, and put brow makeup on me afterwards that was way too heavy.
I definitely know that I just got unlucky with the person who did my brows, but I left feeling embarrassed and I will not be back.

Most ladies know eyebrows can lift your whole face up, make your eyes appear more romantic, give your cheekbones extra «oomph» and make you look well rested and vibrant… in other words make or break a face.
I walked by Bombay Brow Bar because I was instantly attracted to its flamboyant-​colored yet feminine interior and uplifting Bollywood music videos playing. The receptionist working there is VERY friendly so thats +1.
Raj is my eyebrow girl and she is an expert. She knows exactly what brow shape, thickness would suit your face and is very patient with her clients. She takes her time and even if you have sparse/​fine hairs, rest assured you will be taken care of well. Bombshell Brows which cost $ 23 will give you perfect brows, a soooothing brow and forehead massage AND complimentary brow make-​up! (which is optional but highly recommended) I love their expensive– smelling rosewater gel they put on your brows during the massage-​its like a little luxury.
You can choose to get your eyebrows waxed, threaded or plucked. Personally I love threading because it is the most precise and works great on my hairs without getting irritation. (I have sensitive skin) There are other services as well, such as tinting.
Last but not least you can get a complimentary Chai Tea which is insanely good and something I’d purchase.
Can’t wait to visit every 3 weeks for maintenance. Feel safe to get your brows here because from the website it says that everyone working there is obsessed about brows and it is their only service. Well worth the $ 23 for the experience.
