This club is alright. Honestly the price for cover is acceptable not too expensive compared to other venues out there(esp for halloween /nye night) BLVD22 is definitely one of the cheaper ones in Vancouver. With a cheap cover, you spend your money elsewhere and that is at the bar! Their prices for drinks are insane, close to XS and Surrender prices in Las Vegas but only single shot. Average price for a drink is $ 8-$ 11 each. Be warned and they are cash only as well which is a down side. The music now has turned into house/trance but on special days they play a bit of top40s to cater to the crowd. If you are comparing prices between blvd22 and gossip, drinks, relatively the same, cover is cheaper than gossip and crowd is similar. If you do not feel comfortable in a club with 90% asians, best to avoid gossip and head next door to blvd22 where its 70% asian. The 20% might help? but I mean its Vancouver, kinda hard to avoid the asians wherever you go!(just look at metrotown! haha)

The first time I came here was lame!!! Music was almost too loud. I think there was a rap contest or something. So I decided just to drink the whole night. Crowd — mostly asians. Line-up is way too long! And not cheap to get in. Good thing I know the promoter. No line-up and cover for me and my friends. Drinks are normal prices for Vancouver. Expensive city we live in! 2nd time was better. Music still too loud. But better music. Mixed crowds. I had fun the second time. I think it just depends what event they are having for the night so better check it online first.

Been to this nightclub a few times and always had a great time. Events for Halloween, New Years and such are expensive for tickets. Sometimes it‘s so overpriced it‘s not even worth it. They have the sound system on full blast that makes your ears ring for hours, sometimes until the next day! When yelling on to of your lungs is not your favourable option, you‘ll probably like many others at the club start using hand gesture to make conversation with your friends. It‘s nice that they have a good amount of seats for their customers to sit on, especially someone like me that gets tired of dancing and needs a break from all of that. The drinks are typical and same goes for the price. Note: Get their before 11pm to avoid long line-ups.

They sell it as a upscale ‘Vegas’-style nightclub — I guess the décor is sufficiently snazzy with the huge LED display on the dancefloor. It’s in the Plaza of Nations besides Gossip… the venue where tons of clubs have opened and shut down. Price: Rolled in on a Saturday night at about 1PM(they close at 2PM). Tickets to the event were $ 15 before 11:30PM — $ 20 afterwards. Crowd: Mostly Asian from what I could see — but not as thuggish/stuck-up as other joints. Music: Sound system is decent and layout provides good music to dance to and enough ‘pockets’ to carry a conversation. Bottle service was prompt and reasonably priced. There’s actually an enclosed smokepit outside, so you don’t have to exit and re-enter through security. Nice. Overall, not the kind of joint I frequent — but 3-stars for not completely sucking. Not sure if it would last though given this is the nightclub graveyard.

I’ve seen a lot of clubs change hands in the day and this location was one of the one’s that kept changing ownership. After going to the newly revamped BLVD22 Nightclub, I’m positive this venue will be around for a long time. It’s run by long time promoters from the city and it offers a great vibe inside with awesome DJ’s, music and I felt great safety inside. It has a great chill/party vibe that not many places can offer in Vancouver. I was lucky enough to win a VIP table service for myself and 9 friends. The service was good from the girl that we had. I really enjoyed the themed party they had that night and I hope they do more themed events in the future. I will definitely be back to this club. To conclude: great music, vibe, promoters, girls, safety and great times!

Had an amazing time here when I was visiting Vancouver this past month… in a great location as there is another club next door and a casino across the way. I would definitely come back here to party when I’m in town again!

My first one star review, and I have to agree with the rest of the reviews here. It’s where the Mint used to be, and that place is always changing up. Not a pleasant experience ATALL. I happened to be with a person who had been asked by one of the promoters to make an appearance at the club, and that he would be provided with bottle service and free entrance for us, the entourage of sorts. However, when we show up we had to go through a yelling match with the doorgirl who informed us that the comps she had were less than what we had been told. Then, the promoter was nowhere to be found. There was also a ridiculously large crowd outside just waiting to get in. And for what, honestly? Once we got in, it was dead. Everyone just stood around, nobody danced. The quality of music was shit — DJs gotta know when the music is DEAFENING. My buddy was kind enough to fashion earplugs out of napkins for the group. And this booth/bottle service we had been promised? It appeared after at least 30 mins of waiting around for the promoter, and then all we get is a bottle of Alize. Uh, wow. And for such a large space, they only have one small bar setup, so it’s just a mass of people waiting to buy a drink right by the entrance. I’m certain it’s just for appearances sake. Lame crowd, painful music, and an overall blah club experience. Not willing to go back at all, considering what was supposed to be a «VIP» experience(as suggested by the promoter) was extremely lacklustre. Imagining going there as a normal party goer gives me chills. AVOID.
