I BROUGHTMYCASHMERESWEATERINTOHAVEITDRYCLEANEDNOWTHISWAS A 150 $ SWEATERFROMTHEBAY. it was BRANDNEW !! THEYCLEANEDITANDPUT A HOLEINITAFTER! When I asked them to fix the hole they left they denied it. I am still waiting to get the sweater back and like the other person who left a review they did not call me back and both the man and his wife denied putting a hole in which came about 2 days later because when I picked up the sweater there was so much lint on it that it was obvious in thru the bag so I asked them to take the lint off so she went over it with someone which MUST have created the little hole which became bigger 2 days later. This is a shame because like the other man said I live in the area. I also want to add that the woman was so disrespectful of what happened she ACTUALLY laughed at me denying everything. Now that is BAD business sense… Stay away

I recently moved to Vancouver and needed to get some clothes dry cleaned. Arbutus Clearners was close to my house so I gave it a try. I handed my clothes over before I looked at the price(GULP!) … $ 3.00 to dry clean a men’s dress shirt??? That should’ve been my first sign to get out of there. But, I didn’t want to be rude, so I paid my $ 175+ to dry clean some dress pants and dress shirts and left. LOOKATYOURRECEIPT! They made a mistake and only put one pair of pants on my pick up receipt, so not only did they lose my two pairs of dress pants(over $ 100 each), but three dress shirts. Giving them the benefit of the doubt as they were in the process of getting a new machine when I dropped off my clothes, I called them during work hours to see if the clothes were still there, but nobody answered. I left a voicemail notifying them that I had clothes not returned to me from them, BUTTHEYDIDNOTCALLMEBACK! What kind of business does that!!! After leaving three unreturned messages, I finally was able to connect with someone. When I explained the situation, the man from AC said, «Sorry, there’s nothing that we can do. Your receipt says that you didn’t have three pants with us… there’s nothing I can do.» No discussion… no «let’s see what we can do» … no «why don’t you come in and we’ll see what we can do for you.» Nothing! Obviously I will not be returning to Arbutus Cleaners, and I highly advise you to find a friendlier, more reliable, and dependable cleaner… unless you enjoy getting a portion of your clothes back
