You Move Me Toronto

I hired them on just a day’s notice and was incredibly happy to learn that not only were they available, but by sheer luck, they were available at a good time for me.
Well, the snow storm hit and the city got buried, but Nick kept in constant contact with me. I felt really reassured and even when the snow proved to be too much, Nick was very amenable to rescheduling for the following day.
The movers called me to say they were on their way and arrived when they said. A lot of the move didn’t go well due to several reasons and I wasn’t feeling very happy. But it just took a call to Nick, who said that Mike, the boss, would call me later on. When I spoke to Mike, he went above and beyond in a heartbeat to make things right, and I truly appreciate that. I felt that with him, things were going to turn out okay.

I wanted to share our experience with you… So… We’ve recently sold our home in the Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto, and I’m sure that triggered your company contacting us about using your moving services. I arrived home one day to see one of your boxes (and brochures) on our front porch, and I thought: «What a totally kick-​ass marketing idea!» I showed my wife, and we decided to NOT use our previous professional moving company that we have used in 4 prior house moves so that we could give your «funky» company a try. So… I left two voice mails requesting an estimate… heard nothing back… called the cell number on the contact card… no answer… sent a text to the cell number… no response!
Long story short… Great marketing idea, but really crappy «follow through»… Something else to consider… I have a HUGE social media presence, of well over 400,000 subscribers to my blog, and a big Twitter and Instagram audience. I was considering doing a post with some pictures about how cool your marketing idea was… Let’s just say that’s not going happen now! Instead, I’m hopping over to Unilocal and posting a «not so favourable» review of our experience.
Just thought you might want to know about our disappointment.

This review is long overdue!
My husband and I moved to Toronto recently and needed to move our stuff from storage to our condo, we got it touch with ‘You move me” and they were amazing.
They loaded the things from the storage to the truck in less than 15 mins and didn’t waste a minute. They were extremely careful with the furniture and very helpful with moving things around the house.
We were helped by Vance and Kevin (not sure about the second person’s name. sorry!) but they called themselves the A-​Team and boy were they right! They were absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.
When you book they ask if you would like them to bring you coffee, I thought this was a great touch. They gave me a potted plant though as a house warming present too =)
Would definitely recommend!
